At first I was very excited to stay at this hostel due to the gorgeous view from my room (the first two nights). However, I was a turned off after the third night, since they changed me to a room WITHOUT ANY AIR CONDITIONER, to a BOX. In addition, my breakfast service for the three nights went from somewhat complete to food missing (i had to ask for the bread and napkins/utensils the second morning), to a little pastry with no napkins or utensils provided for the third morning. The second and third morning of my stay, they had an incompotent 16-18 year old boy make the breakfast, and he had no hospitality skills, nor did he know what he was doing (ie, not providing napkins/utensils, shoving me with just a small pastry for 'breakfast'). Keep in mind that the breakfast is NOT free despite what the ad says (it is an extra 5 euros), and certainly does NOT include the breakfast pictured advertised on Venere.com (ex, eggs, fruit). Also, people should be aware that NOT ALL THE ROOMS INCLUDE AN AIR CONDITIONER. They happened to put me in a double room the first two nights with an air conditioner, but for the third night, they put me in a box (no air conditioner) which was right next to the hotel workers (the 16 year old boy) and their friends partying all night. Again, at first i felt really good about the hostel, but the change in room, and the decline of the breakfast service (from the first morning to the third morning) by a little kid (who worked there) really turned me off after the completion of my stay.

Hard to find the actual hotel, since it´s a big flat at the 5 floor of a house in a little street. Parking possible in a little courtyard hidden behind a small passage, but you have to check in first.

My experience was very dissapointing and be sure that what is showed in the web page was not offered to me in any way. I had my reservation confirmed and arrived at 9 pm approx. The recepcionist (only italian speaking) said that unfortunately they had only one room left and that parking was full. My room turned out to be some kind of old storage placde of the owners that was prepared for emergencies, did not have a regular door or key or locks, was not larger than five square meteres (my wife and myself could hardly seat on the bed border, bags did not fit in the room, terrible !!!), window shade was shared with the owners room so we had to sleep and get up when they decided to low down and lift the shade respectively, rooms have no private terrace as advertised, breakfast has nothing to do with the photos (no eggs, no fruits), parking place was not available, there is not wi-fi internet access and most important, there is a PUBLIC BATHROOM for everybody, which is not properly specified in the web page. IN summary, the hotel facilities are very different of what appears in Venere web site. I do believe that hotel people did not proceed as they should because they were sold out and still took our reservation and to receive payment they gave us any place they could.
