This was our first visit to Florence and we were generously welcomed to Hotel Beatrice by Constantino. He was a delightful and helpful "host" whose suggestions were all excellent. The room was spacious and clean and the morning breakfast and cappucino were plenty and tasty. I definitely would stay at Hotel Beatrice again and again.

Great location, excellent service, very nice rooms and a great breakfast included. Excellent price/quality ratio. I was really surprised that this is only a 3 star hotel! The location is excellent, only 2 blocks from the train station but it is on a nice street and only a few blocks from the central market and the heart of old Florence. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again.

Gracias Sr. Constantino!!!

Great location if you are attending a conference in Florence (1/2 block from convention center, also 1/2 block from train station). Front desk VERY helpful. Our room (15) was very spacious. My only possible complaint is that the street we faced was noisy some mornings (construction? street cleaning? I never figured it out).

Well placed, somewhat old fashioned. Welcome and service good. Our room was only just behind the reception area with no separating door so was noisey from exit entry buzzer and telephones. Would stay again

Our stay here was very nice and the owner/manager was very friendly. On our last day there, I left an item (relatively expensive) in my room. I called the hotel within two hours of leaving, and spoke with, I believe the owner/manager, who said he had found the item and would hold it for me or someone to pick up. One of my friends in Italy kindly agreed to go to the hotel to retrieve my item. But, when he got there, he spent an hour trying to explain to the owner and a waiter the problem, but they insisted that they had not found my item. When I called the hotel (international call) and spoke with the owner, he said he remembered me, but said that I did not speak with him after I left the hotel, and that they had not found my item.

Good stay in the rooms facing the back yard. Excellent location towards the railway station and tourist attractions. No gloss, but quiet and clean. It is a perfect budget hotel. We had breakfast out in town, so no comments on it.

Staff very helpfull in recommending what to see and do including value for money restuarants. Close to all the main sights and the main station. Wouldn't recomment traveling to Florence with a car.

The system worked. But there was some grumbling at the desk when I presented the reservation and decided to pay with my credit card. I paid an extra 3 Euros to use my American Express credit card (82 vs. the 79 Euros quoted) since I was short of cash after having just arrived from Rome. Maybe you should clarify that the price is for cash. But otherwise the hotel was what I needed, and I would stay there again.

The room was the size of a closet. Also, as soon as I arrived, the owner told me that he wanted me to be back in the room by 1AM because he was going to lock up. When I protested, he agreed to let me in if I came in late. But I was so taken aback that I only stayed in the hotel for one night, then found somewhere else to stay for the rest of my visit to Florence.

Constantine, the proprietor, was very friendly and welcoming. He gave us great information on what to see and when and made arrangements for us to avoid long lines. We were 10 minutes walking distance from all of the major sites. He and the accomodations were great. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was exactly where it said it was - close to the railway station, but close to everything else also. Staff were very good, only problem was the bathroom was very tight. The room itself was fine, very high ceilings which kept the room cool. I was charged exactly what was stated as per my original query. Reasonable value in a central location. No complaints, bar the tiny bathroom. I would use again, if staying in Florence. Personal preference is for Bologna, though.
