Hotel Arizona - Florence

A/c didnt work when it was almost 100 degrees outside. room too small for 4 people. Doesnt deserve 3 stars rating. Wouldnt rcomand in summer

The Arizona Hotel is quite good. aspeicially recommanded to religuise jewish travelers that want to stay near the synaguge, beit chabad, and kosher resturant. all are just a few steps from the hotel. as for the room, i thing it needs fresh wind because it was without proper air and good smell. as for price, it defenetly was worth it. i will recommand this hotel in the future

It is a good, quiet hotel, but a little far away if you want to walk to the historical center. The personnel was very warm, friendly, corteous and helpful. Breakfast or "prima colazione" is enough and has good diversity. It is a good hotel for people under 45 years old and without kids because of the walking distances, since public transportation is difficult to find and understand in Florence.

Great hotel!

The best continental breakfast we had in Italy! Rooms were bigger than expected and very clean. Great location as well. Only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed longer.

Good: Excellent location for visitors to the Florence Synagogue(next door). 10 minute walk to the Duomo and 15 to Uffizi Gallery. Small but efficient 3* hotel. Required a last minute extra room and was still charged the internet price. Clarification: "Extra Beds" does not mean you can add a cot to your room capacity - in Italy (Europe) cities rooms are small and the capacity is rated at maximum. BAD: In spite of being non-smoking - one of our rooms had a strong cigarette smell (staff?) and required alot of airing out. Beware of leaving windows open - especially during summer nights - Florence has some nasty mosquitoes. Despite "no-parking" signs the hotel staff directed us to park near the hotel - (fortunately?) we didn't get towed or a ticket.

Location is good, breakfast is ok. There was construction outside of the hotel from 6am! The price is over average. One hotel employee seemed not very welcoming.

Very nice hotel, located in a very close by place, with parking in the street or in garage which was important to us. Room is big and nice. We recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Value for money OK. Only the spaciousness could have been better(but it goes well with the rest of the old town!-therefore not surprising). The hotel definetly deserves a 3+.

The bathroom was small and difficult to use. The toilet seat was less than 4 inches away from the tub!

The garage places are very small and expensiv. The woman personal in the lobby was very unfriendly. The hotel area was very silent.

Welcoming is not good and depends of the staff.

Good room for a 4 member family.The surroundings are a little dark until you arrive to the historical center of Florence. Nice employees.Good breakfast.

Tried to get us to pay for parking one night as the streets were to be cleaned. We ended up not having to but this was an unnecessary hassle - they should not have even tried! Overall the stay was excellent however. Had real trouble finding the place initially but, thanks to the help of a local businessman, we got there. Don't know that I would stay there again only because I would prefer to pay a bit more and be closer to some of the sights.

I enjoyed my stay. My room was very small--no photos of the smaller rooms on the website. It was just OK. It was clean, the bathroom was very good, and the AC worked. I also wanted a place off the beaten path. This was. If you don't mind a bit of a walk its worth it to get away from the noise around the tourist sites. I would stay there again mostly because it was very close to my friend's apartment. I think compared to other properties it may be slightly over-priced at least for the room I had.

If the extreme smallness of the rooms and showers does not bother you, the hotel is the best you can get for that money: almost new, very clean hotel with superb location and free parking.

Très bon hôtel, calme à 15 mn du dôme à pieds. Notre chambre était très belle, literie de qualité et sanitaires impeccables. Très bon petit déjeuner, varié et à volonté. J'y reviendrai sans hésiter.

Spacious room for the four of us, very comfortable double bed and singles, nice, well-equiped bathroom , beautiful painted ceiling, very nice decoration, we really enjoyed our stay. Next door to a beautiful synagogue, very quiet area, a few minutes walk from the Duomo, very easy to find by car. Garage opposite for only 15 euros per day. breakfast buffet was good, varied and plentiful. The reception employees were extreemely helpful, kind and discreet. I highly recommend this b§b place without any hesitation.

The Arizona was a clean friendly hotel in a good location for seeing all the great sights in Florence. Would stay there again when next visiting this great city.

Incredibly nice staff that were laid back yet so helpful. Not only did we have free parking right in front of the hotel, but they watched our car and moved it the night of street cleaning so that it wouldn't be towed. Every morning there was an Int'l Herald Tribune in the lobby, and they had umbrellas we could borrow when it was raining. In short, it was much better service than I expected for a hotel in this price range.

I was really pleased that I choose the Arizona for location (20 mins walk from centre but in a local neighbourhood with shops, a market, etc). The staff were very helpful, the breakfast was fine, and the overall service was excellent.

Clean and adequate. Rooms not spacious, but not cramped. Fairsized bathroom. Position about 15 minutes walk from central areas. Ideal for synagogue and other Jewish facilities.
