Hotel Ariston - Florence

The hotel is in a very convenient location. The rooms are gloomy and not very pleasant, but the free wi fi and the welcoming receptionists make up for it.

We didn´t enjoy our stay in this hotel. It was extremely noisy at nights, there is no air-con, although the rooms do have a fan in the ceiling,the staff was not very welcoming and breakfast was horrible(we had to pay 3 extra euros for this). The location was good, 5 minutes away from Piazza Duomo, but we will definitely try to find something better for our next visit to Florence.

Good value for money. You will get eveything as discribed, only breakfast was really poor.

Thin walls, noisy, room looked out on tiny smelly courtyard. Reasonably sized bed but no decoration whatsoever, part of the floor (cupboard) was not carpetted. Bathroom clean but strange layout. Sad breakfast with cheapest plastic cups etc. Helpful staff, kind enough to carry heavy suitcase to 3rd floor. Location i.r.t. the sights is good.

The hotel service was very friendly. The room we stayed in was pretty noisy as we heard sounds from pipes all night long and the walls were really thin. There was no warm water in the room and the shower was broken. The place is a bit run down.

The stuff would provide you excellent additional service.

A very nice, typical and and well-located hotel. The room was big enough, and, despite the fact no air conditionning was available (and at least 37°C outside..), the temperature inside was acceptable (vent). We chose a external bathroom, that was, as indicated, strictly private. Everything was clean, and both reception and breakfast staff speak english (as long as it is an "usual" conversation..). Breakfast was reaaally generous : bread, cookies, cakes, toasted bread, oats, yoghourt, cheese, jam, butter, honey, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, (kind of) fruit juices... Everything great ! We would stay there again if we had to go back to Florence.. Aconsejariamos este hotel sin la mas minima duda, en cuanto no les importa la falta de aire acondicionado. Si la climatisation n'est pas un must pour vous, alors nous vous conseillons vraiment l'hôtel. Se per Lei va bene anzi se non c'è l'aria condizionata, poi Le aconsigliamo quest'albergo senza duvida!

2nd floor location difficult for luggage. Room ok, friendly staff. Unusual limited breakfast. Close to centre of Florence, once you know your way around. OK, but might look elsewhere next time.

Very nice place. The price makes it even better. We though it is far from the train station, but it is about 15 mins walk.

I found your breakfast great, the last time I visited Florence and the service and help was excellent when my VISA card stopt working. I will enjoy to return to your hotel in December./Camilla

Everything, like cleanliness, room, reception desk and their atitude are as per expectation and I appreciate these but their breakfast was not good at all.
