The welcome is unpleasant, front desk staff behavior is rude. Beside a clean bathroom, there is nothing worth to stay here. It is warm and air-conditioning not allowed to use and no hot water. It does not justify to be a 3-star. Don't dampen your holiday mood by staying here.

This hotel is a shame. How could Venere.com recommend something like this. Dusty an not cleaned the last week,toiletseat falling of the toilet, cold water in the shower. We had booked Airone for two nights - but we moved too City Hotel in Florence after one night. It was enough. I can recommend City Hotel. Airone will not bee visited again by us.

Very acceptable for an undemanding single traveller, and provides good price/quality satisfaction in this context. Parking is a very expensive extra, although I suspect that this will not affect many people. The hotel is a good 30 minute walk from the centre. Would return, but not as a couple.

Va benissimo se si vuole spendere poco e stare comunque bene.le camere sono climatizzate, l'albergo è ben servito dai mezzi pubblici che fermano a piazza puccini ed è a 5 minuti di autobus dalla stazione.il personale è disponibile.ci tornerei

I had a great room with a balcony at a great price. The breakfast was also very nice with fresh croissants (cornetti). It was an easy bus ride to/from town and a nice location near the park for running.

The hotel offers 32 comfortable single and double rooms, tastefully decorated in Florentine-style, with wood furnishings and terracotta floors.Each room features a private bathroom with shower or bathtub, individually controlled air-conditioning, heating, direct dial telephone, colour TV, mini safe and mini bar. Baby cots are provided on request.
Accomodations with a balcony overlooking the private garden are available on request.
Dogs and small pets are welcome. The structure furthermore features non-smoking lodgings and one disabled-accessible room.

How to reach Airone Hotel
By carFrom the A1 highway exit at Firenze Nord. Go past the airport and follow the directions for downtown and viali di circonvallazione. Proceed along via di Novoli, cross the bridge and turn right on viale Redi. Go three blocks and then turn left on via Toselli, where the hotel is located.
By train
From the Santa Maria Novella railway station proceed along via della Scala until piazza di Porta al Prato. Continue straight on via delle Porte Nuove until via Toselli. The hotel is only a 2-minute walk from the bus stop; take bus n. 30 at piazza della Stazione square and get off at piazza Puccini. By taxi you can reach the property in approximately 10 minutes.
By airplane
The Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport lies 5 km away from the hotel and is easy to reach by taxi in about 15 minutes. By car, upon leaving the airport follow the indications for downtown and for viali di Circonvallazione. Proceed along via di Novoli, cross the bridge and turn right on viale Redi. Go three blocks and then turn left on via Toselli.
A public shuttle bus service, running every 30 minutes, is available from the airport to the Santa Maria Novella railway station. Then follow the above-said instructions.
