Cosmopolitan Concept Hotel - Florence

This is a great hotel the staff is excelent and very knowladgeable about the area. The room was spacious and very clean, the mini bar was well stocked, just an overall comfortable stay. For food the pizzaman resturant is a great value for the price. We will definatly stay here again when we return.

Comfortable, clean hotel. Breakfast could do with a bigger selection of food. Right next to the bus stop, tickets sold at reception.

I have never had a better experience with hotel staff. The desk clerk was unbelievable kind and helpful. Everyone I met smiled and was friendly. The room was just as welcoming and hospitable.

The hotel was lovely and there is a fantastic pizzeria right across the street. There is also a bus stop just steps away from the hotel and cost 1.40 euro per person to get to the city center. The neighborhood surround the hotel is a little rough, but if you're looking to save some money on hotel expenses and still get wonderful service, this is the place to go.

This hotel is wonderful, very modern. Our experience was very nice and relaxing. Our room was silent, clean and with a great bathroom. The air conditioning has a full control, and our sleep was perfect. Good breakfast. When you stay here, you'll always desire another night more.

The environment is pretty good. The receptionists speak good English and provide good services as well. I asked for their support to find a good deal and rent a car from the car rental company.

Many services direct on the TV as free listening of selectable music, the Internet access is billable. Very nice modern style, good breakfast and a free parking if you arrive among the first. Charming and very competent at the front desk. I confirm transportation to get to the downtown, I definitely recommend the place.

This hotel met all of our expectations. The front desk was extremely welcoming at check-in and was able to help with various questions regarding getting into the city center of Florence or outlying towns for our day-trips (e.g. San Gimignano). The rooms were very clean and spacious. The bathrooms were very contemporary and had all the amenities we expected. The breakfast was very good provided you made it there before any large (tour) groups arrived. Otherwise, the food could be picked through. The breakfast attendants were always very helpful in getting the items replenished. The only "complaint" of this hotel was the limited number of parking spaces. Fortunately, this never became an issue for us since we always managed to get a parking spot. If not, we would have had to park in the driveway on the other side of the hotel or find something across the street. One thing I did like about this hotel was that it was located on several major bus lines. That made traveling into Firenze's city center very convenient and eliminated us from having to drive and park close to the center or take a taxi. Bus tickets can be purchased at the front desk which was a plus. All in all, this is a great hotel; very clean; and a good alternative compared to what you would normally find in Florence. It's very easy to get to off of the Autostrade if you have are driving.

Excellent hotel for the price you pay. The bus stop is less than a block away and can take you for over 1 euro to the center of Florence. I would definately recommend it and would certainly stay there again if I return to Florence. Not much to do around the hotel though.

The hotel is a little out of town but only a 9Eur taxi fare or 1.20Eur on a very frequesnt bus. Only downside was not many dinner venues close to hotel (however we had a nice (fun) meal at Pizzaman). The staff at the hotel were lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is very modern and clean. We would stay here again.

Great quality hotel, within 50m of public transport (Bus 29,30 and 35) towards Florence, although stops in an ackward place due to construction. A/C wasn't working in room but service was great. Will return to this hotel. Note: Parking is in Rey's Carpets parking lot, next to hotel. You will be let in their garage across the road after check-in.

The hotel was the best out of 5 hotels we stayed at during our journey through Italy. Breakfast was excellent - we liked the fresh fruit salad in particular. The staff also was extremely friendly, helped with our poor efforts to speak Italian. The room was modernly beautiful and spacey. Although it takes about 10 minutes by bus to reach the city centre we would recommend the hotel to everyone who plans to visit Florence.

Florence is one of the most expensive cities in Italy. Therefore the price paid to this hotel looks reasonable. Access to city center takes 15 minutes by bus and buses run frequently. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

A great boutique hotel for discovering Florence but just beware slightly of the location - we went in low season (July) and saved a lot on the room, but at the expense of having to travel into town by bus. This only took 15 minutes and was easy enough from the main train station Santa Maria Novella, but buses weren't very regular especially in the evenings. And they didn't run after about 11pm on the way back so if if you have dinner and drinks in town you'd definitely need to take a taxi back. But the room was great, gorgeous bathoom my girlfriend tells me, and the air con worked very well. Lovely continental breakfast included too - lots of choice.

This was my first trip to Florence and I had a wonderful experience staying at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, very good English as well. The rooms were unbelievably nice, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Getting to the central part of Florence was pretty easy using the bus system. If you are not into public transportation, then it is not recommended that you stay here. Taxis are very expensive to and from hotel and it is quite a long walk. Buses are very reliable and super cheap. My cousins stayed in a hotel centrally-located for the same price and it was not nearly as nice as the Cosmo hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel and service, staf was very friendly, Initially we booked only 2 nights at the hotel (jan 2, 2oo8 and Jan 5, 2008), We like it so much so we have staied one extra day. I think its a great hotel. After travelling in Europe for a month and staying at a lot of "rustic" hotels, the modern facilities this hotel offer is very much welcomed. Its a little ways from the old part of Florence but then its reflected in the price. I would definitely recommend this to others.

My wife and I had a very nice stay. The rooms were fantastic and after a long day in town it was always nice to come back and relax in the room at night. I can't say enough how nice the rooms were, by far the best place we stayed at our whole trip in Europe. The staff was really nice and accommodating. The breakfast was splendid as well. I was a little skeptical about having to bus into town each day, but they sold tickets at the front desk and the bus ride wasn't really a bother. The area around the hotel is nice and safe, the only reason I rated the area lower was because you need to take the bus to see all the things you want to see. I would for sure stay again if I returned to Florence. I'll save you some time though on your way in, finding the 29, 30 or 35 made me shake my head. There are two main bus stops right on the train station property so I kept looking for them in those two spots, but the stop you want is across the street on the south/west side of the station.
