Nice hotel, excellent location, lovely breakfast Didn't spend too much time in the hotel so can't really say about spa etc. Small terrance on top floor where you can have breakfast, quick drink, or smoke (just for 4-6 people) - lovely view though

Only one word "PERFECT" in Florence

Although the suite was impressive to look at, it was not functional. The drain in the shower was clogged causing flooding that actually went under the panels. The room was set up for 2 people not 4 and the phone line in the room went dead to which they were unable to fix. Any time we needed anything we had to go to the lobby to ask for it.

Is this a four star hotel? I'm not sure. To my mind, it provides three star facilities to a very high standard. But I didn't need four star facilities so I can live with that. The price was reasonable enough for Italy and the location is fantastic. Almost everywhere you could want to go in Florence is accessible within 5 minutes on foot.

Yes First time in this hotel, very friendly Staff. But never go by car to Florence(Firenze), I went there by car from PISA Airport, till the sign Firenze it was easy, but to find the hotel takes about one hour, there are too many ONEWAY-streets there, so at least I stopped a Taxidriver, and with him it takes 20 min again to the hotel. But for shopping in Firenze it is a very good located hotel, you can shop there until you are poor.

Wonderful location, friendly staff, hotel has an abundance of character & its emphasis on changing displays of artwork distinguishes it above its Florentine peers. The private & public rooms both show original thought in design & the hotel barman makes very strong cocktails. This all made for a beautiful & relaxing vacation. I would strongly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel. We wish we had more time in Florence so that we could have taken advantage of the spa and turkish bath.

We had a fantastic stay at the Borghese Palace Art Hotel. Upon arrival we were well greated made to feel as if we were returning friends. Federica was especially welocming as she was able to not only provide for us reservations at La Giostra - she was always at our disposal. She made my mothers first trip to italy very gracious. The upstairs terrace was great, providing nice views of the Duomo. My wife and i took advantage of it after many days of walking throughout Florence! Breakfast was good with the usual spread of fresh fruits, cereals, juices, cheeses and meats - along with eggs. Our room was very engaging and we always looked forward to a good night sleep. A++++ HOTEL AND SERVICE!

Conveniently located for sight-seeing. No need for transport. On route of tourist bus so able to sight-see further afield easily. Would benefit from having a restaurant for evening meals but loads of choice near-by.No bar snacks available either so dining-out essential. Pleasant and helpful staff but don't expect the buffet breakfast to be replenished if you arrive within the final hour of service.Overall a decent, handy small hotel. Not equal to Spanish or English Four Star rating though.

i was travelling with my wife. The service at the hotel was really good and most helpful, specially at the reception desk. Only one little query: The breakfast was poor but in general we were really happy and no doubt we will return to the Borghese again

The hotel itself was very nice and modern...our room wasnt ready when we arrived and we asked could we have a drink while we waited but the bar wasnt open at the time - this was 2pm - after a few minutes someone came along and gave us a drink which we paid for but I felt for a hotel at this level and price a drink or at the least a water/coffee should have been suggested without our asking - our room was fabulous when we got to it to be fair and the hotel was as I said very swish and modern unusual for Italy - we returned from our first days sight seeing and having had our meal out said we'd have a drink back at the hotel as we were tired from travelling we returned at 11pm to be told the bar closes at 10pm - I thought this was a bit strange also - we paid alot for our few days there and thought it a bit much not to able to have a drink at your hotel in the evening - having said that I would recommend the hotel and would stay again should we return to florence as it is very well located and having sussed the surriounding area out there are plenty of places to have a drink nearby.

Great hotel. You will be right in the middle of everything. No need to use transportation as everything is in 5-10 minute walking distance.

I stayed in Florence 4 days, the first week of May. Borghese Palace is an excellent place to stay, very well located (Piazza Signora and Doumo, shopping at walking distance), clean, with a free small gym and sauna. Breakfast is good, is quite and elegant, even too modern for Florence it is a wonderful experience. If you come by train only be careful that Line 14 has two directions, you have to take the one heading Via Gibellina crossing the street in from the station not the one inside the train station. Book Uffizzi with time (some hotels can do it) and climb to the top of Doumo to see the city if you can, 400 stairs,,,)

Nice hotel. Good location. Quietness of room: depending on the room in which you stay. Breakfast could be improved in selection of better food (breads, fruit juice,...). The safe in the room is too small. They could provide more products in the bathroom as kleenex tissue. Nice sauna and Hammam. Globally a nice stay.

Room given to me had been inhabited by a smoker, but they changed rooms quickly and got a better situated single room. Second room smelled like ammonia cleaner. It smelled like a cheap motel off the Jersey turnpike. Lobby is amazing and could be a fantastic nightclub if it was promoted right.

The hotel and service were fantastic. Perfect place to stay when visiting sights in Florence. The directions to the hotel need to be more specific for the city centre area, as it's very difficult to find.

This is a fabulous, new hotel. The staff are courteous and helpful. The contemporary decor is refreshing and tasteful. It's location between Santa Croce and the Duomo make it the perfect spot, especially for first-time visitors to Firenze. One of the best restaurants we ate in the whole trip (Dino's) was just a few steps to the east.

the only negative thing I have about the hotel is the poorly designed bathroom. the shower stall is intirely to small and after taking a shower the first time water flooded the entire bathroom and half of the bedroom. Apparently the water pressure was to high for the drain to work properly. after using all my towels on drying up the floor. Everything was great! the staff were remarkable on giving service to the area. I only wish we were able to visit more than one night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling near florence!
