The only downfall was the mosquitos in our room nothing to spray or SWAT with got bitten quite a bit and pests of little fly's that got into the fruit juice at breakfast. Could possibly have a zapper for this little problem.

Excellent hotel: superb location 20 seconds from the Duomo and easy access to everything else. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room had been recently modernised, had all the facilities I needed and was a decent size. Overlooked a courtyard so had good light and but was quiet. Breakfast had what I wanted to eat and was served in a pleasant room. I would definitely stay there again.

It was our first visit to Florence ,a must , a great city , not very very well kept . From the public areas , to the galleries , to the hotels and restaurants every body is more interested in the tourist money than in providing a good , modern service .

We spent 3 nights in this very central hotel. The rooms were extremely quiet, beds very comfortable, staff very helpful and it is a lovely breakfast. Excellent value for money

A nice hotel in the heart of Firenze (Florence). Close to everything, but laying in a relatively quiet street (just make sure a class of school children is not shouting down in the street ...). From the inside, the noise of the electric door opener was a bit annoying, else very quiet. Very nice room (double room, single use), clean and large, compared with the price. Good, plain breakfast buffet offers you enough to eat. Yoghurt and fresh-made sandwiches were a plus, lack of plain cheese a minus. Very nice and interested personnel always being ready to help you, especially a middle-aged lady (owner of the hotel?) always present, always kind, always interested, always helpful. Firenze is a city full of art and museums, regrettably also full of tourists. The ice-cream is good, but very, very expensive.

For a winter's break this hotel was ideal. The staff were friendly and helpful, our large room was spotlessly clean and lovely and warm. Breakfasts were good and set you up for a day's sightseeing. The hotel is very close to the Duomo and all other attractions. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone especially if they were planning a winter trip of relaxed sight-seeing to avoid the summer crowds and heat.

Grrreat location! Friendly and very helpful staff and owner. Large clean new rooms. Only thing that bothered me was the buzzer that sounded every time you opened your rooms door,it could be heard all the way down the hall.

Great kindness, clean and spacious rooms, fair price, perfectly placed in the town center. And you can listen to the Florence Dome bells! What could you desire more?

I cannot say enough about our stay at this Hotel. The owners and staff were EXTREMELY kind and helpful. The stay was made an even greater experience by their willingness to help us gain information. They also talked to us in the evenings and discussed the history of this beautiful hotel. It is a healthy price, but the rooms were beautiful and very spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel to EVERYONE !! It is also right by the Duomo, so very convenient to all of the main areas of Florence.

I have spent some perfect days in Benivieni, everything was fine: the room, the staff, the location, the cleanness - everything made my stay wonderful. The hotel is situated in the heart of Florence, just some steps from Duomo, the central cathedral, so in the mornings you could be awoken by the ring. I recommend the hotel to everybody.

Hotel manager was very helpful and welcoming to guests. Hotel was impeccably clean. Great capuccino. Awesome stay! Beautiful duomo just around the corner. First time in Florence/Italy. Would love to go back again. Had a heck of a time returning the car rental--never drive into or attempt to drive around Florence. Everything's close by on foot.

Superb location for all the sites and attractions of Florence, perfect welcome and service, including a more than acceptable, but not hot, buffet breakfast, spotlessly clean. The rooms are very well set up and everything is done to make you comfortable. It's probably not the cheapest 3 star hotel, but it's well worth the money. Would not want to stay anywhere else in Florence.

A superbly located middle class hotel with affordable prices. A most welcomming staff, which helped us with good advice throughout our stay. Always a frendly smile, good houmour and discret service. Its location is as central as it could be, only a block away from the cathedral. (We could hear the bells, but they rung only three times a day.)From now on, we'll use Bienivieni whenever we're in Florence.

Admittedly, I was a bit skeptical-- if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. But the staff and the accommodations at the Benivieni surpassed all expectations and effectively cleared any skepticism. Ours was a great hotel experience. The location (just a few steps from the Duomo), the room, the helpfulness of the staff-- everything was just fantastic.

First-time visitors to Florence for vacation. We had a great stay at the Benivieni. The breakfasts were good, the location was convenient, the hotel was relatively new and very clean. No view to speak of, but even that wasn't a negative.

Very nice hotel! Quiet for a hotel a block from the Duomo of Florence. Staff were very informative and recommended several restaurants within walking distance that were excellent - especially like the Couquinas two doors down from the Benivieni. Reccomend it highly and would stay there again!

The rooms were nice but a bit spartan. The Staff was most helpful by providing recommendations to outstanding restaurants each evening. They knew their away around town and we eager to help. They are very conscientious. It is a family-run hotel with a great location.

The room was beautiful, though the hotel was a little more bland than I was expecting. The person who greeted me at the desk (who I believe was an owner) was wonderful and helpful. The included breakfast was magnificent -- it was my first taste of little caprese sandwiches for breakfast!

This hotel was absolutely wonderful! Don't stay here unless you want to be welcomed like family, want an impecably clean and well appointed room, and a central location. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Very quiet, very clean, very convenient. We loved it!

Superb location. Nice people. My wife says she appreciates the bidet. She also suggests that there is excellent decaf coffee available, e.g. LaVazza, and she'd like it next time we come.
