B&B Hotel Firenze Nuovo Palazzo di Giustizia - Florence

Few services but new forniture and cleans room, great balance quality vs price. Good location for airport and overall close to highways. City center attainable by bus. Free wifi, fast and everywhere available.

We stayed here for 2 nights to sightsee in Florence with our 3 children (we booked 2 rooms)The hotel was very easy to find and the rooms were spotless and spacious enough for our short stay; the beds were really comfy and the bathroom well-equipped with bidet, shower and hairdryer. The breakfast was good value for money and set us up for a day's trek around Florence really well; the lady serving the breakfast was charming and took the trouble to remember our son's name!. We were able to leave our car in the hotel car park (gate not locked and quite small) and caught the bus to the centre of Florence (15 minute ride)at the bus stop outside the hotel front door. There were buses every 20 minutes with the last back to the hotel at 12.30 (midnight) We'd definitely stay here again.

When we arrived, the flamboyant male receptionist was very unwelcoming and when we had questions about payment and if it had gone through, his response was 'I work here madam...' in an obnoxious manner. Apart from the rude receptionist, we had a room that was next to 2 lifts and it kept us awake most of the night and work us up in the morning at 5am. The rooms were clean but that's about it. The bed creeked every time you moved on it and the matress felt like a rock. When we mentioned all of this to the receptionist, he did nothing about it. We wouldn't stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was under construction in May 2010 when we stayed here. The shower was in the middle of the bathroom with no curtain, which is typical in Italy, however there was not enough slope in the floor to allow for proper water drainage...so the bathroom would constantly flood into the sleeping area. This was my only real issue. Also we did not have wifi signal in the room so had to use the common area. Otherwise, great - not the best place for tourists but this was fine for us as we have previously lived in Italy and were just stopping through again. IF you are a tourist - there are many prostitutes working the corners at night - they won't bother you, but it is awkward if you're not from a big city. Also the Kebab place down the corner is FABULOUS.

We stayed for 2nights. 2sleepless nights. The rooms are not soundproofed. The occupants of the adjacent room were arguing and we clearly heard their shouting and discussions. The room above us were creating so much no ice, dragging of things here and there until past midnight. 2nd night, was worst. A group of guests arrived at almost midnight. They are very noisy at the corridor. Then they started knocking at the next room's door. They were shouting at the top of their lungs and to my horror then even knocked at our room's door. I immediately called the reception to ask for intervention and assistance. After few rings somebody at the reception answered only for another disappointment, he said he cannot do anything. He said he cannot go upstairs to check as he was all alone. He even said that maybe it was not our door they were knocking at. For consolation, he offered to transfer us to 7th floor in the middle of the night. The worst thing he said was he cannot stay all night at our floor to check and watch on things and what was happening there. Indeed, friendly and efficient huh! We really reverted our stay. The worst vacation we ever had.

Really nice hotel except its bathroom. There was NO drainage system. After shower the whole bathroom became a pool... That's the only thing I didn't like with this hotel.

The rooms were too noisy and there were 5-6 prostitutes outside waiting for clients, which was quite difficult to explain to the children.

Very basic hotel. Rooms are very small and shower was a trickle on hot water. Maid did not replenish bathroom supplies. Proximity to airport is the only advantage. They did have comfortable beds. I would not stay here again.
