The Hotel is have a great design. The room is clean, big, modern, love it. Location is easy to access. They really need to hire more staff for reception. It was a long queue and i waited about 30 minutes just for check in, and it also happened to another guest on the next day. Something wrong about the sanitary system, i have heard some guest complaint about spoiled draining hole and it also happen with the toilet in my room.

We had a great stay here. The air conditioning was key and the room was very clean. It was a little further away from the main tourist areas, but was no more than a 15 minute walk and there was a bus stop 1 block away. We were able to buy breakfast for a fair price for what was offered. Thanks for a great stay!

The hotel was very modern, in a quieter part of Florence, which was nice. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the Duomo. The room was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. Most staff were helpful and polite.

A good stay in Florence. Our room was fine but the 'Free Wi-Fi" as featured only was practical when you went down to the lobby for better reception. Shower facility in bathroom could use some improvement as they were made as a walk in without a shower door. Consequently, the excess water spray/splashing would end up travelling across the bathroom floor towards the carpet. Not very well thought out. A very good continental breakfast buffet offered.

Ad claims wifi in every room; worked only in lobby. Service and helpfulness of staff was below average. No dressers or drawers at all; had to stack clothing on floor. Breakfast @ 6,90 per person was equal to 8.00 for 3 at coffe shop next door. I rate this hotle as one step above hostel.

Excellent location. Old city centre and main places of interest are within 10 minutes walk. Free wi-fi access (to get it please contact the reception). We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't say anything about it's quality. Good cafe just next door to the hotel (morning cappucino is wonderfull!). To sum up - total matching of price and quality.

The hotel has no cabinets at all, which is OK for a few nights. The stuff is completely incompetent (no answer for any question) and unfriendly. We wanted to store our luggange after checkout. "Impossible" was the answer, but we saw a luggage room. Nevertheless it is modern styled hotel, clean, the breakfast-buffet is adequate. Excluding the stuff it can be recommended.

Best value for a business traveller in Firenze. A much more powerful light in the bathroom will be better.

We actually enjoyed our stay. The hotel is exactly as it seems in photos; both public areas and room are very clean. We really liked the forniture. Staff was very kind and qualified. Excellent relationship between price and quality. Even if the hotel isn't very close to the city center, walking does not take a lot of time to get there; besides there are a lot of buses. Perfect for a couple, either young or mature, and for a family with older children. We would definitely return to this hotel. Great!

Very good value for money. I really appreciated the possibility to reach the hotel by car and the proximity with the historical center. Small observations are: to put an extra soap nearby the lavatory ( the only one available were in the shower). Some more towels are also a plus. Mosquitos could be a problem in the Wrong season.

Firenze is a small town, this hotel located close to the high way bus still could be reachable by walking distance to all sight seeing places. Hotel is new and room is well facilitated except - no refrigerator which cause quite inconvenience.

Hotel was being renovated and the main entrance was a mess. The rooms were newly done but very tight, so small that we could not open our luggage. We did not have a phone and when we asked, we were told that the hotel was waiting for them but could not tell us when they would arrive. Wake-up calls were done by knocking. Breakfast was well thought out with a nice variety of foods. We would not stay for more then one night.

Room was sparsely furnished and there was no tea facilities. Breakfast was very poor, I didn't even bother with it the second morning. No parking at hotel and trying to park in Florence is a nightmare. Hotel is in need of upgrading. On the plus side it is close to the city centre.

We booked based on other people's reviews, and were not disappointed. Great staff, very helpful, great room, great views. Would definitely recommend it for families. Bought bus tickets at reception, short ride into city centre (would have walked with older kids). The bar was being refurbished, but the reception even had a corkscrew for a bottle I brought in!

This place is a run down, beat up dive. Beds are as hard as rocks and the pillows as thin as paper. For families: The "Quadruple" room means 4 beds in one room. I would not go back.

They did not explain very well how to reach the hotel by car, and we got a little lost to find and also there was a confusion with the name, because it is a Best Western and the Vivahotel Capitol Santa Croce name was hard to find. But the room was very nice, every thing clean and the location of the hotel is very nice. In a busy street and you can walk everywhere in Florence from there and there are nice restaurants and bars around for a nice dinner. We had a good time. At the front desk people were not so friendly, but it is what you get from a chain hotel.

Decent motel that was hard to find, right on the main road. Just had to figure out it was a Best Western and then okay. It was 15 minutes walk to attractions, but the bus stop was 20 meters away, and they sold tickets at the desk. Very handy.

It is a bit far away from the city center, so maybe the price could be a little lower to compensante transportation costs. The hotel is excellent in every thing!

Although situated on outskirts of Florence most places within 20 mins walking distance. Taxi fare, with luggage, from the station was just under 10 Euros The Hop On/Off Tour Bus pick-up was fairly close. Although on a busy main thoroughfare traffic noise was not a problem. The overnight trash collection was the biggest problem. Hotel had a restaurant that served dinner as well as a comfortable bar area. Hotel staff were very helpful and were able to recommend a good local restaurant with excellent food.
