This is a good finding, good hotel with kind staff who helped us with our little child and very well located two blocks away from train station. A special mention to the lady who serves the breakfast. I'll use this hotel my next time in Florence without any doubt.

location of the hotel is good. but most of their rooms face to the road and you will be easily woken up by noice of the traffic.(i heard screaming from the guest next door at 6am) the service was welcoming, IF YOU FIND THOSE WEARING GREEN SHIRTS! You will see poker faces from for those who wears white shirts and suits. One evening around 9pm I went down to get some drinking hot water( it was 5C outside,no boiler in room, no matter how much you pay) and the front desk asked me WHY DO I NEED HOT WATER?! It's like if I didn't come up with good reason, NO HOT WATER FOR ME!!

This is the second time we have stayed at the Atlantic Palace. The location is perfect, a short walk to the train station, right on the markets, a short walk to the Duomo & many restaurants.

Our overall interaction with the staff was good, our stay was only supposed to be two days but we arrived early and fortunately there was a room for us. We enjoyed our stay, my only complaint was the proximity of our room to the street and the noise.

When we check in, I ask for the wireless and mineral water that is included in the package, the receptionist told me he can not provide us with wireless connection as the card is sold for 10 euro, he never had experience in dealing with customers with such term and tell us to wait until tomorrow. I told him this is not acceptable and its not our problem, finally he called his colleague and give us the wireless connection. I haven't had any chance to see him in the frontdesk since check in, Francesca is always there since next morning and she extreamly nice and helpful. one thing about the room...the bathroom is tooooo small that even does not has an adquate space for the toilet.

A very nice hotel with friendly staff and good service. Located in a convenient position near the railway station, but a few streets away from the major attractions (about 10 mins walk). Breakfast staff friendly and vivacious, desk staff speak good English and are very helpful. Some noise from the street and air con machinery, but not a big deal unless you are bad sleeper. Good views from the top floor rooms. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

I stayed 4 nights at the Atlantic Palace Hotel and i was disappointed. This hotel is a great 3* Hotel but surely not a 4* hotel. The location of the hotel is great because near the train station Santa Maria Novella but the street is a bit glaucous at night and it is not really inside the old historic city of florence. Inside the hotel, we discovered the prices that were posted on the door of our room and we were surprised to see that the price of 1 night was 348 euros ! But it didn't seem to us any one of the hotel had paid this price... ( we paid 80euro the night ) so we advise you to find another hotel if you are really looking for a great 4* hotel but otherwise this hotel is a good value for money.

The price of garage was more than indicated on web page. Apart from that everything else was excellent. I would, very gladly, stay again at this hotel, but I wouldn't come to Florence by car.

I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and I enjoyed it then. It has vastly improved since then. They have updated the rooms and the dinning room. The staff is competent and friendly. They are extremely knowlegable about what is going on and where.

We stayed in July 2008. The rooms was large and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful with all questions. The hotel is excellently located in walking distance to all tourist attractions. The breakfast is a little bit poor and the waiters insufficient.

exellent hotel, very kind employees, beautiful room. I was there for the BTC fair and I stayed only one night, but when I go back to Florence I will probably stay at Atlantic Palace.

Photo's and written description were not the same as the room provided. I had stayed at a 4* in Venice the previous 3 nights with the same hotel chain and was disappointed in the comforts provided in this hotel in comparison. The staff were excellent and friendly.

The double superior room I got was spacious beautiful decorated with an excellent bed. Avoid the rooms over the via Nazionale which is very busy at any time of the day. Housekeeping is excellent too. This being said I recommend not to rely on the staff to get some service. In particular the room service is a real joke : Forget about the nice idea of having your breakfast in the room if you don't want to miss the breakfast serving period. Despite this , I believe it is excellent value for money for Florence.

I love Firenze and like to visit it regularly. The ATLANTIC PALACE is the only hotel I went twice and I have tried a lot of hotels in Firenze. The ATLANTIC PLACE is "the hotel" in Firenze for me and I can recommend it to everyone.

This place was as wonderful in person as it looked on website. Great location, short walk from main train station and right in the center of everything.Great places to eat all on same block, great shopping and sites. Only two small problems, shower never seem to get hot water so we had to take cold showers, and our room was in the front so the traffic and people drinking noise seem to go on all night (Friday Night). Request a room off street and everything will be wonderful. It was a great place to stay for our 20th anniv. and we would stay there again every visit to Florence. Oh they also will hold your luggage for you if you are catching a much later train pass check out.

We stayed here 4 years ago by mistake(our hotel was overbooked and they moved us here) and we were pleased to come back here with our family. It is in easy walking distance to the train station and quite close to the market area as well as the attractions in Florence. The rooms were spacious and attractive; the one interior room was especially quiet and our children were not bothered by noise on the street side. Our plans changed quickly as we visited relatives in the area and the management was able to accomodate us later in the week at the same rate when we called in. They were friendly, courteous and spoke excellent English. We would be happy to stay here again on another trip.

Front desk clerks were extremely accommodating. When I checked in, I was given a very large double room, almost a suite with a separate sitting area, instead of a small single room, as I was staying for 5 nights. Beautiful room. The area is not so great, on a very busy noisy street by the station, but windows have shutters on the outside and also on the inside, so most can be shut out. A good place to stay if you want a nice room around the corner from the station. My only complaint - I always like to stay in Italy because the breakfast coffee is so good. Coffee at this hotel is BAD, and often just warm, not hot. Otherwise there is a large buffet and everything else is quite good.

The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - The rooms were spacious, immaculate and beautifully decorated. We were welcomed with champagne on arrival! (it was our honeymoon) We extended our stay at the hotel Florence and the reception staff took care of cancelling our hotel in Milan. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone !!

This is a very well placed hotel for sightseeing around Florence with friendly and helpful staff. The price is good value, but you will need to factor in an additional daily rate for parking. I would certainly stay here again.

I was very disappointed in the service. Employees did not talk or offer any assistance. Maybe they did not speak english? The room was was represenitive of a 2or3 star Hotel. It was nothing like the photo. We payed way to much for the room. I thought we were paying for location but the location was terrible. Borderline neighborhood. The one good thing was breakfast and bottle of wine in the room was a nice touch.I would not recommend this one.

The staff was especially courteous, welcoming and capable. The desk manager was quick to provide for special needs and contingencies. He was pleased to offer a change in my accomodations when my originally assigned room did not have a safe for my documents. The new room (#369) was on the upper floor, a split-level room with an ancient stone stairway to the bedroom which had a spectacular view of the nearby Duomo. It was quite a treat! Furthermore, the housekeeping staff were efficient and professional and often greeted me with a smile and "Buon giorno." All of the staff I encountered were uniformely helpful and pleasant. As a native English speaker, they were attentive to my needs and made an extra effort to speak my language and help with any translations I needed. They were proud of their workplace and environs and were eager for me to see the high points of Florence by giving sound and detailed tips on where to visit, dine and shop. They made my visit quite pleasant and I would return there the next time I visit. I was very satisfied with the whole experience. Grazie mille!

Unfortunately, my experience with this hotel was not one of the best. Although the hotel is not bad and it is has a good ubication, the personnel are pretty rude and not too helpful. The surroundung area is not too pretty, but is in a good location to get around.

It is difficult to make a recommendation if you have no other hotels to compare, but I certainly want to recommend this hotel. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. The Superior room however is only slightly bigger than the normal double so no use to ask for this. bathroom is rather small.

Because a bathroom was separated from a bedroom in stairs, I had a hard time though a luggage was heavy, and it was not put up and cleared it up. I have you make a reservation for a museum beforehand, and I have an email from the front to visit, and thank you very much for doing it very kindly. All the restaurants which had you refer you are extremely delicious and thank this.
