A short 2 blocks off the waterfront area. Very helpful and accomodating front desk staff. Good location for an early departure at the airport. Very clean and spacious rooms although hallway and stair way carpets could use a cleaning. Large bathroom. Free and simple wifi access in the room which was a rarity in Italy.

A lovely hotel. All staff were knowledgeable and helpful The neighborhood is not nearly as nice as the hotel but it is not threatening in any way. The only thing I noticed needing improvement is the carpeting on the short stairway.

Lovely Hotel, accommodating staff, carpets need to be replaced in common stairways and bathroom fixtures were chintzy compared to other comparable hotels we stayed at in Italy. Breakfast and early morning flight accommodations were prompt and affordable.

This is a terrific option for the Fiumicino area, where problematic hotels are the norm. The staff was terrific, and the nearby recommended restaurant La Perla prepared a top-flight Italian seafood dinner.

Delightful hotel close to the airport and perfect place to stay if you require one night prior to an early flight departure. The rooms are well-appointed, clean and spacious with wi-fi and full cable-tv connection. And a special mention for the staff who were very attentive, friendly and welcoming.

Hotel is very nice, great location; only 5 minutes walk to the see and numerous restaurants. Breakfast was fabulous. Only one complain – I asked at the desk if I can have an espresso and receptionists said that she doesn’t want to start a machine and I have to go to the bar on the main street. First time in Italy I was refused of coffee. By the way, she wasn’t busy at all. Taxi from airport costs 15 euro.

All 4 of us seniors were delighted with our stay at the Seccy Hotel. Alfredo and his staff were outstanding in all respects. The breakfast was beautifully presented, was abundant, and very delicious. We would definitely stay there again. Regards, JB, USA

This is a very comfortable hotel, near the airport, with a superb independent family-run restaurant next door. My only criticism was that there were steps, no ramp, to go up to get to the elevator.

Very nice hotel in the middle of a battered (but safe) neighborhood. Rooms are clean, well-furnished and amply sized. Sat TV has programming in multiple languages. Reception area is clean and tastefully furnished/decorated. Staff (with the exception of a surly young woman) is knowledgeable and very eager to help. Breakfast is excellent. Affiliated airport taxi service is efficient and affordable. Have stayed at the Seccy several times and have always had a good experience.

A lovely property close to the river where there is plenty of shopping and fine restaurants. Only 5 minutes from the airport, the Seccy Hotel is quiet and convenient, however, shuttle service is not included. The shuttle was 15 euro each way. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great pizza next door but not friendly service. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if flying early or arriving late.

Very nice hotel conveniently located in close proximity to DaVinci airport. The staff works diligently to please, is very pleasant and helpful and works hard to ensure that your stay is comfortable. Fiumicino is a quaint fishing town where a visit to the fishing pier between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm when the boats arrive with their catch, is a must.

Service was just excellent-the breakfast was the best we had on this trip to Rome. The local restaurant, recommended by the staff, was fantastic with an excellent price. Only recommendation, do not pay over 1 Euro for a rose :o)

We booked at Seccy Hotel at the last minute. Our flights were very early in the morning out of Fiumicino and we were arriving late in the evening from Venice by train. We were only in the hotel for a few hours! The hotel volunteered to send a driver to Termini Roma and thank goodness we took them up, since the driver was fast and knew how to get to the hotel which is off the beaten track. There was a slight delay and confusion in his picking us up, but both the driver and the hotel were very helpful. The lobby is nice with reproductions of of Roman artifacts. The room was ultra clean and neat and the shower was the best I had in Italy. The night clerk was very very courteous and helpful and although I got only 4 hours of sleep due to the time of my flight, I was impressed with the hotel overall. They arrange drivers to and from the airport which is 5 minutes away. I doubt that a taxi from Rome would find the place easily, so do ask the hotel to send a driver for you if you're coming from Rome. It was 50 Euros from the Rome train station to the hotel and 20 Euros from the hotel to the airport in the middle of the night, 15 Euros otherwise. We heard they have a good restaurant but we arrived too late for dinner!

Welcoming and beautiful hotel & rooms, but outside our window appeared to be abondoned home. Not comfortable leaving after dark, but good for our one night stay before returning to the states. Able to get to airport in the a.m. without problem for 15 Euros.

Wonderful hotel for a quick stay over near Rome/Fiumincino/Da Vinci Airport. Large rooms, large bathrooms, great showers (even by American standards. Top Quality. 2 blocks to the river prominade where there are a number of good restaurants. Had an early flight out, the hotel helped me get a driver to the airport (15 Euros).

This is a very nice family run hotel. We had to stay there because we missed our flight and needed a room for the night, but I have to say that it was one of the best and largest rooms we had during our 30 day trip to Italy. The people who run the hotel are super nice and the shuttle service to and from the airport is fantastic. We had to be at the airport early, but we still had time for break fast which was lovely, beautiful and varied pastries, fruit, cereal and really good coffee. I would definitely stay there again.

The quality of service and the hotel room was excellent. Our flight was at 6:55am so we did not get to enjoy the breakfast, our driver to the airport was waiting for us in the lobby at 5:30 sharp. It is a 5 minute walk to the restaurants on the river.

Excellent choice for overnight stay. We felt very welcomed there. If we ever need to stay in Rome at the airport we will stay in Seccy again. Hotel needs more photos on the website. If you need a shuttle from the airport you need to call when you arrive. Can not schedule pick-up.

I have been searching for a well-priced, high quality hotel in the Rome Airport (Fiumicino) area for several years. I live in Italy and travel a lot. Finally, I have found my perfect hotel, run by the always friendly, happy, competent and accommodating Seccy family, This hotel is a jewel just a couple kilometers from the airport. They provide internet and breakfast in the air conditioned hotel and a private limo shuttle for 15 euros a couple. This is a great door to door service when catching a flight. The hotel has only been open a few months but outshines all others in the area already. I can't wait to stay there again.
