Clean, spacious, welcoming. Big buffet breakfast. The shuttle to and from the airport is 6 euros and fairly convenient, though it does not operate early enough to catch trans-European flights first thing in the AM. Restaurant is good, a bit pricy, but what you would expect from a hotel. Note that the shuttle has the name of the hotel on it, as well as several others. The staff told me that the new shuttle pick up location is just outside the arrivals of terminal three and to the right, where the other hotel shuttles are.

Travelling to city of rome and to congress was difficult, price shuttle to rome is 15 euro pp, to airport and congress 6 euro pp. That is to much for a hotel service. Breakfast was terrible: no normal fresh croissants, acceptable fruit juice. ALso the staff was quite unfriendly and gave little to no service

I had to make several trips to the desk to correct a problem with the lights. I did to get the requested wake up call. Had I not awakened on my own, I would have missed my flight. At the restaurant, I did not get the gas water I ordered. In spite of all that, the staff tried their best.

This is one of the best airport hotels we have experienced in Europe for the price. We were in a new wing that was spacious, very nice pool area and more than satisfactory restaurant. There appeared to be nothing by residential around, but our only mission was to be near the airport for an early morning departure. Fair shuttle price to the airport of 6 Euros

I was pleasantly surprised as I did not expect such a nice hotel. The hotel was very modern and well kept. It was quiet and clean and the restaurant was good. It is a great place to stay if you want to be near the airport. I highly recommend Hotel Club Isola Sacra.

Absolutlely loved this hotels, so modern and clean after some of the others in Italy-would love to have stayed longer to enjoy the facilities more instead of point of transit to home. The one issue I did have was the instructions for picking up the bus to the motel from the airport....they were very unclear and it took ages to fing the right place...and it wasn't a coutesy bus-you pay for it, which wasn't told to us...otherwise brilliant spot thankyou

The room was quiet and clean enough, but the bathroom spoils the overall impression. WC was quite OK, but the tiles in the shower were covered with mould, tubes were rusted and it was not a nice feeling to step in to the shower corner. The hotel has a very strange conditioning system. When we arrived, it was so hot in the room, but we couldn't find how the conditioner works. Then the receptionist told "oh, it doesn't work because I have to turn it on. What temperature in the room you want?". Then when he sets the temperature, you can't regulate it in your room. Either it works as you have asked or you switch it off if you don't like it. Also if you are going to stay in any Fumichino hotels and think that this is the quickiest way to drive to the airport in morning, I would recommend you to find a hotel in Rome Parko di Medichi area as it's much easier and faster to drive to the airport. It might be stresfull in Fumichino because of the traffic jam. It's only one road and always crowded.

Stayed in new wing, room is new, clean and spacious. Staff service could be better especially guest should be allowed to place shuttle reservation to airport in the morning, instead have to come back and book the shuttle in the afternoon for evening shuttle. Morning staff could just communicate to afternoon shift staff.

Excellent service from the reception, as usual. Very nice welcoming. Excellent pizza restaurant. Atmosphere and garden much nicer than the usual airport hotels. The hotel has been expanded, and as a consequence, there alwasy is a looooong line at the coffee machine in the breakfast room. When that is combined with a most unhelpful staff, there is room for easy improvement. Apart from that, an excellent value for money option.

We only stayed in this hotel one night. The purpose of this hotel is to get to the airport early the next morning, which it served well. Would not recommend staying here if you are intending to spend alot of time in Roma. It was a very modern looking hotel. They only recently renovated and are still in the process. The rooms are nice and fully ready for guests, however the hallways are still a bit bare and in some places construction is still going on (although thankfully not during the night).

We stayed at the Hotel Club Isola Sacra on May 30th. The reason for our stay was because it is only a few miles from the Rome airport and we had an early flight the next morning. We thought we would be able to use their shuttle for 6 euros per person, however, it doesn't start operating until 6:00 AM and that would be too late. We took a taxi from the Rome airport to get to the hotel and then back costing us 15 euros one way each time. Actually, the hotel called a taxi for us at our requested time of 5:30AM. It worked great. The hotel was very modern looking and clean with a nice flat screen TV. We had a view of the pool with a balcony. It was very nice and relaxing. I wish I could have had more time there. There was a pizza restaurant down the street which served a variety of dishes and pizza. The hotel also had a restaurant. I wasn't able to judge their breakfast properly since I was only able to grab coffee and a pastry because it wasn't set up yet. We would definitely stay here again if we were taking a flight from Rome. It's a very nice hotel.

This is the hotel where we normally stay the night before when we are travelling early out of Rome. Now, the new wing has been opened, and that was really very nice. The swimming pool and garden give you a far-from-airport feeling, and the pizzas in the restaurant are excellent. This time the service was outstanding, as we had to change the booking with less than one day's notice, and they did not charge extra, although they could have.

Excellent location close to Fiumicino airport. Our flight arrived at 2:00 AM, the only way to get to the hotel was by taxi, and it took just a few minutes (and 30 Euro). The room was spacious, everything very comfortable, nice modern design. In the morning we used a hotel shuttle service to continue our trip.

We stayed here on our last 2 nights in Europe before our flight from Rome as it was close to both the Airport and Ostia Antica. It was the most expensive hotel of our trip but we had a lovely spacious top floor room with 2 queen beds in it, a very large modern bathroom and a nice restaurant. No free WIFI but it was cheap, it's on the bus route which was very handy but has an airport shuttle if you prefer. Staff were friendly and helpful. A nice way to say goodbye to Italia.

The hotel is quite far away from the airport. There is a 12-Euro-surcharge for the "courtesy" van transfer to and from the airport. The hotel is quite isolated. No shops and only a few restaurants nearby. It is definitely not a place to use as a base to explore Rome. There are transfers into central Rome provided but the price must be rather hefty.

The hotel is located very close to the airport and that is good if you are looking for a one night stay and have to reach the airport to fly out. The room size was just ok and as described but there was a terrible smell of cigarettes despite we booked a non-smoking room. The check-out took a bit longer than expected because of the long queue of people (mostly soldiers) served by just one guy at the reception.

The 6 Euro Shuttle bus between airport and hotel only runs early morning and after 4 pm, so if your flight arrives midday, you need to find your own way to the hotel. Airport taxis were asking 30 Euros, but I managed to find a private bus that was willing to detour and transport me for 25 Euros. Also, don't believe the taxi drivers when they tell you train reservations can only be made from Rome Termini station. The airport train station can sell you advance, reserved-seat tickets for any EuroStar train. Hotel Club Isola Sacra is close to the airport, but in a quiet, mostly residential area. There are restaurants and a small grocery store nearby. I had lunch in the garden at the hotel (they opened the kitchen just for me!) and I ate a good mixed salad and a tasty dish of spaghetti with melted cheese. Breakfast buffet is mainly sugar and starch, but I enjoyed the creme caramel. The hotel is currently building an extension that will add another 40 rooms, plus gym, spa, and swimming pool (scheduled to open September 2010), but I was not disturbed by construction noise during my one-night stay.

We were looking for a hotel close to FCO airport that was within our budget. This one fit the bill. There were three of us, and we asked for twin beds. The room was set up as we asked, was clean, had internet access in the room with an easy link to plane check-in. The breakfast was good and the shuttle to the airport was on time and took us directly to where we needed to go. The area is more business than tourist, but it was great for access to our flight.

A plain hotel (think Motel6) but it worked fine as a 'night before the flight' stopover. The shuttle was on time and cheaper than a taxi. Hotel staff was pleasant and gave us free ice. We had an excellent dinner at a neighborhood restaurant. Hotel breakfast was ok.

For an airport, quick stop, the hotel is acceptable, but the staff was not particularly friendly nor helpful....not the hospitality or care I am use to in Italy. They were just doing their job....certainly nothing more than that. One person, a bellboy from Kenya, was particularly nice and helpful. Everyone else could have cared less. The hotel was OK, & the service to the airport was dependable and fine, but I would only stay here again if there was nothing else available.

Finding the shuttle at the airport was a frustrating experience with a 45 minute wait added on, although it was mostly due to not speaking Italian well enough- and when I needed change the desk did not have any. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, and breakfast was the best we had out of 4 hotels we stayed at on our trip. The variety was wonderful. Also, they had no electric converters, which was a surprise since even the smallest bed and breakfast in Venice had converters. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I thought the hotel was much closer to the airport from the description than it actually was. We stayed in a triple and it was very comfortable, with the best bathroom and shower we had on our trip.

We chose Club Isola Sacra because it is close to the airport and we had an early flight. The hotel had a very loud party (amplified music, disc jockey) going on outside until midnight. We got little sleep. We had to return a rental car and asked the desk clerk for directions. He responded in a very bored way to us, and to another guest. We ate in the restaurant. The pasta was drowning in oil and salt. The food was served in the wrong order. It was the only bad meal we had in Italy. We would not recommend this hotel.

An adequate hotel for staying close to the airport. Comfortable room, a little on the smaller side compared with our other Italy accomodations. Breakfast was adequate - but coffee / tea from a machine is not inspiring. The internet computer in the lobby ate my money without delivering access to the internet. The hotel clerk's reaction: too bad. The computers belong to an outside vendor and apparently the hotel takes no responsibility for them. If they have a policy as to how to handle their malfunction, this clerk was not aware of it. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant down the street very much.

The hotel is rather difficult to find. We had an early morning flight but the front desk did not provide the promised wake-up call. On the expensive side IMO for the value offered. Nice bars and restaurants just 100 yards away. Front desk gave excellent directions to the airport, though.

we stayed one night at the Hotel Isola Sacra and were glad to leave, the staff at the reception on arrival were not very pleasant, the room we had was a double but not very spacious, in the bathroom the toilet seat was broken. On our arrival we were told that the restaurant was not open for evening meals and were told to go to a restaurant up the road, we dont think this is good enough. Also we were charged €12 for the hotel mini bus to take us to the airport, the local bus service only charges 50c per person from the airport to the hotel!

O'k. This is my last set of comments which I hope gets some action. Overall the room itself and the hotel was fine. I did not like the women at the front desk. I also did not like the difficulty we had finding the van at the airport since you failed to state it was a Marriot van. We had to pay E6.00 and then the next day the shuttle or van was not leaving until the time we had to be on the plane so it cost us E25.00 for a cab. I believe we were deceived as in the add you stated the shuttle was free and did not state times it was running.I further believe we should be reimbursed the full E36.00 Carol Hale

We stayed here strictly because it was very close to the airport ( about 3 km) and we had stayed before.Staff were mostly friendly and helpful, except for one manager who was lackadaisacal. Most staff were nice, happy to speak Italian to me and listen to my italian but also easily able to speak English.Be advised, if you want to book the hotel-sponsored bus into the center of Rome, ( it goes into and leaves from Piazza Venezia) give them some notice ( maybe a day) We wanted to go in at 3:00 and the bus was not avaliable for that run, though it is listed as a scheduled time. We took a cab and it was 85 Euro without tip. We had to do it as we were meeting a friend and did not want to drive in in our rental car and become lost or not be able to drink wine with dinner! Luckily we had a great driver who really talked to us and pointed out the sights.ALSO when you return, make certain you know where the bus will meet you. We were told to wait by the three columns ( Troia Collona) and in fact the bus breezed right by there and my husband chased it to the actual stop, on the back side of the Marriott. If we had not caught the bus we would have been out another 85 Euro, so this is serious. When we told the staff about this they were deadpan---not apologetic. There is a sweet little restaurant called "La Locanda" about 2 blocks outside the hotel gates if you take a left when you exit. The food is excellent and the staff are nice.We ate there twice. Never tried the hotel dinners the 2 night we stayed. The breakfasts are bountiful, but you need to ask for cappuccino--it is free but is seemed unless you asked you would not get any----Overall a fine place to stay if you want to be close to the airport. Not charming, but clean, comfy and functional.

We stayed one night before flying out from FCO Rome, and this turned out to be a very good decision. The train to the airport the night before, was stuck on its tracks and a 30 min trip turned out to take 3 hours. We arrived at the hotel at 10:30 pm and fortunately the hotel restaurant served up a very good meal. The hotel was quite basic but suited its purpose and was medium in price.

We were so disappointed with this property. If you want to stay near the airport choose the Hilton. Even though the Hilton is more expensive the price difference will be made up by the taxi ride to the airport whereas you could walk from the Hilton. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. The neighbourhood is not the best. Do not go to Ostia down the road. Completely trashy and the taxi back was unbelievably expensive. The bus service to the airport do not leave atva convenient time and the taxi tarriff started from a really high amount. We questioned the driver and he started off in a flurry of Italian. The room is so small. It was like staying in a cupbouard. The surrounding are tacky and we were so unimpressed and were looking forward to getting out of the country. It was really depressing. Please do yourself a favour and do not stay here.

The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood. Thus, small restaurants and shopping is available nearby. The only problem was that the hotel shuttle runs only several times a day. If you get to the airport after the early afternoon shuttle leaves, you might have to wait two hours for the shuttle.

abbastanza vicino all'aeroporto, tranquillo nonostante la presenza di molti militari nell'albergo; servizio navetta per l'aeroporto solo in alcune ore della giornata, ma complessivamente è una buona soluzione per chi deve viaggiare. Ristorante carino

The property description needs to point out that the hotel restaurant is closed on Sunday. We booked this hotel in preference to others in the Fiumicino area because it had a restauant on site. It was closed, however, on the day we stayed there.

Choose this hotel for one night, if you have to stay close to the airport. Shuttle service described in the offer works limited hours on workdays and even less during weekends. The cost of getting a taxi from the airport varies from 25 to 40 euros and depends on the driver's mood. Taxi to Rome is 50 euros one way. The additional cost of transportation should be added to the cost of stay. Altogether it is probably better to stay in Rome and use the train to the airport at about 11 euro one way.

The property was quite adequate for an airport hotel. Before we left, I had queried the availability of the shuttle bus,and they had cofirmed by email that it was available on weekdays until 9pm. On arrival(8:30pm)we rang and were told that we were too late, and would have to get a taxi! When we got to the hotel the girl on the front desk was very offhand, which was a shame, because the rest of our experiences in the hotel were quite good. I think our problems were more a function of her than the overall management, but I'd advise others to be sure about the shuttle bus details before they arrive.

Very welcoming staff, but walls not particularly sound proof and quite expensive for what it is.

Found the hotel to be comfortable and clean at a well price. Good place to rest up for a day or two prior to leaving or after arriving from a long flight into DaVinci Airport. Restaurant was very good also. Would gladly stay ther in the future.

Efficient shuttle service from and to the airport, but not available late in the evening (then taxi is 30 euros!). Good breakfast included.

Hotel met all of our needs, location to airport, service provided by hotel for free transportation to airport was a surprise. Price quoted via you was greater than others who were staying at the same time. Over all I would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

I booked over the internet and found the hotel to be most accommodating. They provided prompt shuttle service to and from the airport. My room was clean and pleasantly furnished. I had dinner in their restaurant and found it to be quite good. The check in at the desk on arrival was swift and friendly, which means a lot to a tired traveler. I would definitely stay there again.

Do not stay at this hotel because there are better options. The hotel is near the aiport, but more than the 5 minutes stated by the person at the front desk. To be exact, it is about a 20 or 25 Eurodollar taxi ride to the airport - and you will require a taxi because the advertised shuttle service does not exist. This is a very expensive hotel for the level of service provided and the front desk was not helpfull, at all.

Although this hotel is close to the airport, the shuttle bus service provided by the hotel did not run frequently, or on request. It ran only about once an hour. We waited an hour to be picked up after a long flight. Breakfast was good. The barking dogs in the neighborhood kept us awake.

Conviently located. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a very pleasant suprise. Room was adequate and a bargain for the price. Courtesy van service provided. Good place to stay on last night before departing flight.

Hotel was booked for proximity to airport and for that use it is adequate. I wouldn't have wanted to have been there more than one night - facilities are basic - neither bar nor restaurant was open when we stayed. It was very noisy but we may just have been unlucky! When we returned to the hotel at the end of our break, the hotel had no record of our booking (made with Vanere) - fortuntely, they had a spare room!

Not nearly as close to the airport as they say. There are lots of places closer. It cost more than it's worth.

The hotel was clean and very convenient for people that go to Fiumicino Airport. The shuttle bus service is very nice, too. Although I was a single woman traveler I didn't need to worry about anything during my stay at the hotel!

This is a great hotel that is very close to the Rome airport. If you have an early flight, we would highly recommend staying in this hotel. We experienced excellent service -they provided us with a free shuttle service. Rooms were large and clean. The only drawback was noisy neighbors the night of our stay(party being held next door) and soundproofing wasn't great.

We only stayed in this hotel one night but it was clean and large. We ate in the hotel restaurant (most restaurants outside the hotel close on Mondays)and it was not world class but good and the service was good. Breakfast was included in the price and it was excellent. This hotel is only a few kilometers from the airport and they have a free shuttle service. We DID NOT hear planes in our room! I would definitely recommend if you need accomodation close to the airport.

The only thing I would recommend is a better Web map and directions. When we were trying to find the hotel we had trouble because the printed version of the map was illegible and there were no written directions. I would change that! Thanks.

Avoid like the plague, we were told "the restaurant is closed, because it is closed". The pay TV didn't work & the staff were rude when we asked why!. The staff told us to get a bus to Ostia in order to eat/do anything but couldn't tell us how to get there by bus. My advice is to stay in Rome & get the excellent 45-60 minute Eurostar direct to the airport <10 Euros 1st class

The driving instructions relative to the airport were difficult to follow. It is really quite easy to find the hotel when you know which roads and exits to use.

Hotel was clean and neat and the front dest personnel accommodating and friendly. Downside was rooms are noisy and the rates are quite high for very average accommodations. I would only use this hotel for convenience for a very early flight out of Fiumicino.

Very expensive for the amenities offered! However, they offer a convenient shuttle from & to the airport without additional charge. (it costs 40+ euros one way for a taxi!) Plus we had a delightful, relaxing dinner at the garden restaurant on the back patio.
