The staff was very helpful with directions to restaurants and setting up a shuttle to the airport for a very early flight the next morning, The manager was friendly and spoke excellent English.

Rooms were nice, and staff was good. It was not in a very great area, but we did find a couple of restaurants to go to. Was only 10 minutes to the airport and that is why we picked it. They have a shuttle to the airport, but it costs $7.50 /person. It was alittle pricey for the area and accomodations.

Upon arriving at Euro House, the desk worker saw that I had my preschooler with me. She assumed his age, then before addressing me added a €20 charge to our reservation and "upgraded" me to a room for 5 people, for which I was supposed to be thrilled. I wasn't. The preschooler still sleeps right next to me and I didn't need a double room. Nor did the child eat any breakfast the next day. It was an excuse to charge me additional Euros. Otherwise, the internet connection was good (€3 per hour), the room was clean, and it seemed quiet outside of the few evening flights that roared past the hotel. The general manager was very snappy and pretty much rude when dealing with her employees and with me. There is a pizza place around the corner but otherwise not a lot of interesting "sights" nearby. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The proximity to the Fiumicino airport is nice. Take the shuttle for €15 instead of a taxi for €25.

Getting the shuttle arranged from the airport to the hotel was a challenge. We finally found a private driver for 15 Euro. The room was spacious with small kitchen and patio. Not much to see or do in the neighborhood, but convenient to the airport

We chose the Euro House in order to make an early flight and to avoid the Roman traffic. It served it's purpose impeccably. The manager/receptionist person on-call was incredibly nice upon our late arrival. There isn't much else to do around the area but the kids loved this place and wanted to stay longer!

We are repeat guests of Hotel Euro House. Very convenient to the airport, breakfast is good and the attached restaurant a good choice for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and helpful. We have stayed here for the first and last days of our Italy trips and it has eased the stress of getting to the airport on time.

It is about what one would expect for a hotel located near the airport used only for convenience. Unexpectedly, there was an excellent restaurant nearby!

Protected parking is ideal and necessary. The upgrade this year to 24-hour presence at the hotel desk is very much appreciated.

Rooms were very average. No hot water. Represented as air conditioned, but only the bedroom was air conditioned. Our children slept in the living room on a sofa bed and were hot all night as the one A/C could not keep the apartment cool. Location was not the best, but was close to the airport and was good to catch an early morning flight. Had a good restaurant down the street within walking distance. Free breakfast was mediocre.

Our stay at the hotel was very short as we arrived late in the evening and had to be at the airport by 6:30 am. The hotel was very good about arranging a shuttle from the airport (we had arrived there by train from the south of Italy)to the hotel (15 euros). The arranged one for the morning as well but because of the early hour the cost for the morning shuttle was 25 euros. We did not have a chance to try the breakfast service as it did not start until 6:30 am and we had to leave before that. There was a reasonably priced restaurant/bar right next to the hotel so we did not have to look far to get something to eat at 9 pm when we arrived. This is a good, reasonably priced hotel close to the airport. I can recommend it if you need a place near the Leonardo DaVinci airport when you arrive or when you are departing.

Room was very clean and confortable, but for the same price, our friends got a suite. I understand that they booked before us and probably there were no more available suites, but the price should not be the same.

THe hotel indicated that it was close to the airport and had a shuttle, but 1) it's not walkable; 2) shuttle was not available when we arrived; 3) taxis charged a fortune to take you here. The front door did not look anything like in the picture - they must have taken a picture of another hotel! The front desk person also requested payments up front or no room, which was ridiculous for a hotel (not a B&B). The area was rather dirty/old. Much better to stay in Rome next time and take train directly into airport.

I found the quality of service and the room to be outstanding. Initially i felt the room price seemed a little high, but the size of the room and the provided facilities were outstanding. We were there just for one night before flying back to the USA so were unable to take advantage of the full kitchen. For $179 Euros we received a suite with a separate bedroom and a single bed in the main room with kitchen (large room). I also was very impressed by the manager and the man who greeted us at the hotel. I wish I could remember his name, but I believe he said he was from Guatemala. Everyone spoke great English, but he went out of his way to make us (and others) feel weloomed and important.

La mia esperienza personale nell'Hotel Euro House Fiumicino è stata tutto sommato positiva. Hotel nuovo, pulito, molto silenzioso.

The room was very nice--more like a small apartment. The location is not desirable unless the desire is easy access to the airport for an early morning flight--in which case it's ideal. There was a bit of an ant infestation in the bathroom that may have been the result of the open window. Other than that, the room was very clean.

Good value and location if you want to be near the airport. Decent continental breakfast. Get good directions from the staff if you are dropping off a car at the rental car agencies at the airport. I wasn't really expecting much from the hotel as it was just an overnight stay between flights at Fiumicino. The front desk staff was very courteous and accompanied me to the room, which was actually more like a small apartment. There are three restaurants nearby with decent prices and good food. Breakfast was more than sufficient and provided a good mix of sweets and salties. I recommend paying for a taxi to and from the airport as it ends up costing a bit less than the shuttle. However, the shuttle was very punctual and convenient. Oh yeah...internet service free at the front desk.

A little difficult to find & the neighbourhood is a little functional (what do you expect 5 mins from an airport) but, once we found it, it was great. Easy check-in, friendly staff & the rooms are roomy (big sitting room with TV & balcony, separate bedroom & en-suite bathroom). Breakfast is ok - a little on the basic side but fine. There is also a small restaurant/cafe next door that serves perfectly ok lunches & dinners. WiFi Internet as well! Big advantage is the location. you can roll out of bed, check out & be in the airport within 15 minutes, easily.

The Manager and reception staff were very helpful and friendly and their command of English was very good. Our accommodation was a holiday type apartment with a kitchen facility because all the hotel rooms were booked. Our room was on the ground floor and there was quite a bit of noise from the room upstairs with people walking on the tiled floors. In the morning there was no hot water for a shower, which was disappointing with a 12 hour flight ahead of us. The reception staff were apologetic. We were supplied with a map when booking which was fortunate as the taxi from the airport needed to refer to the map several times. Shuttle to the airport on departure was prompt and the driver very courteous. In summary the room was clean and tidy and well appointed, the staff were friendly and the hotel's location was convenient for the airport.

We are curious about the European method of providing one room key that unlocks the door AND controls the electricity. Travelling as a couple, we both had to leave the room together, if not, the person staying in the room would have no lights. Why is this done?

Stayed here our last day in Italy. Reception was outstanding. They could not have been more helpful and friendly. Only downside was that wake-up call was 10 minutes late. Airport shuttle driver was impatient even though we made it to the van at the prescribed time. Having said that, we would stay here again. The house restaurant (Concorde, I think) just next door was excellent.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Although the surroundings are somewhat industrial, the hotel itself is clean, modern and well run. We had a "family room" which provided a bedroom with queen bed and 2 singles for the kids. We even had a small kitchenette. The breakfast buffet was very good (scrambled eggs!). The only (small) complaint was that the coffees, etc. came from a self serve machine. There's a good pizzeria/restaurant around the corner and the waterfront is about a mile down the road.

This is an excellent place to overnight before connecting flights at Fiumicino. Having stayed there twice for this purpose, we're planning to stay longer in our next trip, and use it as a base to visit south-of-Rome sights such as Ostia.

Very helpful staff; suggested that we visit Ostia Antiqa and gave us driving directions; very worthwhile. Outstanding but reasonably priced restaurant on premises (shared by 2 or 3 hotels). Hotel's airport shuttle is reasonable. Cabs are very expensive. Driving in the area is very tricky - use a GPS! Large, quiet rooms; really meant for extended stays. Immediate area is small business and heavy traffic; not a walking area.

We have told many people about Euro House since our return to the US. If you are traveling to Rome and then on to another part of Italy, stay at Euro House. The staff told us about a great local seafood restaurant in the area. We dined there and it was delicious and very affordable. We really think anyone would want to stay in such a nice, friendly, helpful place....and the beds are GREAT!!!

We were looking for a place to stay near the airport our last 2 nights in Italy, so our expectations were low. The hotel turned out to be very nice, clean, well kept, with friendly and helpful staff. Close access to the airport for our 6am flight, yet surprisingly quiet. Not the greatest location to explore Rome, but it is very close to Ostia Antica and we found it a great place to finish our trip.

Hotel room was spacious, lighting was stark, employees tried to be helpful and spoke English but couldn't get credit card machine to work and didn't give us our 5:30am wake-up call. Difficult to find, but this one bedroom apartment was perfect for us as we had an early morning flight the next day. We arrived in late afternoon and enjoyed a quiet evening at the local recommended restaurant just a short walk from our apartment. The staff was extremely accomodating and helpful by printing our boarding passes and arranging transportation to the airport. A perfect ending to a lovely time in Italy.

This is a hotel property near the airport. The staff were very competent and helpful. We had a very early flight out in the morning and they booked our taxi for us. The room we stayed in was an apartment with a full service kitchen. Everything was exactly as we expected from the Venere web site. This would be a great arrival or departure point for those flying into Rome and renting a vehicle, as there is plenty of parking at the property. The taxi to the airport was fast and inexpensive, with luggage 10 euro.

I guess for Rome, and considering the currency issues now, the price was OK. We had a warm welcome but had some major flaws. For some reason we could not get hot water. We were travelling with our two daughters (6 and 7 years old), and had come all the way from Florence by train. We were all looking forward to a nice hot shower. The children were standing there in the shower, all wet (bc the water would be warm for 30 seconds and then cold again),cold and crying. It was almost 23:00 and we still had not showered, hoping the water would warm up. We all ended up having cold showers. Another issue was the mosquitoes in the room, who attacked my older daughter's ankles and feet the moment we came into the room. As she is highly allergic, she ended up very swollen and with blisters on the bites. The restaurant recommended was very close, around the corner, very nice setting, but the worst food I have tried lately. I think it was a while that somebody stayed in the room bc the headboard was full of dust and the second set of lights in the bathroom did not work. This was the first time we travelled and used three star hotels and were very disappointed with the quality of the ones we stayed in. The breakfast was dismal. One good thing is the proximity to the airport. It took us less than ten minutes to get there. Overall not a pleasant experience.

Being in Fiumicino there isn't much around to do/see. There are a couple places to eat but not many and when I was in this area in May 2005 NOTHING was open; we had to walk into the town itself to find a restaurant and there weren't many and they don't speak English (I don't mind but some people do). But it is 5 minutes from the airport terminal and it is about 60 euros cheaper than the Hilton which is in walking distance so even adding in shuttle fares it is cheaper. The room was the nicest room I stayed in the 4 weeks I was in Italy.

The shuttle service was a joke! It was part of the service (until 8pm or so) but when I arrived at the aiport (around 5.30pm to be picked up), the reception found an excuse and so shuttle was NOT available! Also for the price I can get a MUCH better hotel and service in many other airports and cities!!!

People can comment as they please about location but after staying at this hotel at both my arrival and departure in Italy I thought it was perfect. Compared to other hotels we stayed at during our three weeks between Italy and Romania, I looked forward to knowing it was our last stop before leaving Italy. The rooms were clean, the staff was great and after spending a little time on foot in Fiumicino I actually enjoyed the area. Yes, a bit industrial but with a short walk the downtown Fiumicino area is kinda cool. It's where the real Italians live and without a doubt, the best restaurant we ate in over three weeks was down near the beach. If you need a place to stay if you are just passing through the airport, this is very convenient, close, and good shuttle service. In my investigation prior to booking here, some people commented negatively on trivial things like the prepackaged breakfast rolls in the room. My only comment is who cares? Go around the corner to the coffee shop all the locals go to in the morning if you want fresh pastry. I would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are in reality small apartments, quite big for three people and fully equipped to stay longer than i did (one day). Rooms are clean and quit, ene though the surrounding are bit disappointing (rude suburbia of Rome). It is relative far from Rome (30 min train) but railway station it is not so far and if it not required to go out in the evening , it could be a confrtable accomodation for a short trip, especially considering that one can avoid restaurant, with lot of money saving

I rated "Quality of Service" a 5 since the main reason we chose this hotel was the 24-hour availability of shuttle service. The hotel shuttle service is advertised as "Shuttle Service 24 hours". HOWEVER, it was not available to pick us up at the airport on 5/25 or 6/11. Instead we had to take a cab both times. On 5/25 this was a pretty big deal since we were at the opposite end of the airport from where we had to be to get a cab to Fiumcino (rather than Rome), and we had a lot of heavy luggage. On 6/11 we at least knew that we had to go to the Hilton to get a local cab. Service from the hotel to the airport was excellent - ready to go on time. Dishes in the kitchen both times were dirty - appeared to have been rinsed but not washed - yick!

Not a great neighborhood. Near the airport, which is what we wanted, but after enjoying our vacation in Rome, Florence, Tuscany and Sorrento, Fiumicino is not a great destination. The room was fine, the staff was helpful, but the breakfast consisted of instant coffee, yogurt and some unappetizing packaged rolls and the bedroom air conditioner was so noisy we barely slept. The vacation was over when we arrived in Fiumicino.

Lovely little hotel close to airport. Exceptionally clean. spotless actually. Marble floors, great little patio complete with lemon tree. Secure gate around hotel and parking. Breakfast in the fridge (juice, yogurt) buns, tea and instant coffee on counter. We had a family of 4 and had a suite on the ground floor. Francesca, was outstanding. She welcomed us, took us through the room and recommended local restaurants. Even more impressive, when we had left something in the room and asked that it be couriered to us in Rome a week later, she personally drove it to our hotel after her shift. Now that is above and beyond service. Outstanding! The area around the hotel is very industrial - not some place you would necessarily want to visit for any length of time, but the hotel was great as a stop to or from the airport. Would definitely stay again.

We were staying for one night at the hotel, since it is extremely close to the airport. our flight was at 6:45am, so we had to be at the airport at 4:45am for the international flight. The woman at the front desk totally helped us with our bags, scheduled a cab to drive us to the airport early in the morning and called us on the phone to ask if everything was satisfactory upon check-in. I was shocked that this "airport hotel" had huge clean rooms and a refrigerator stocked with breakfast foods (little sweet rolls, little cakes, milk, water bottles and yogurt) included for free! I didn't see the town or surroundings, we were really there just to sleep and leave the next morning. But I would recommend it to anyone needing to be close to the airport! Totally exceeded my expectations (and I'm very picky)

Facade was being renovated, but this renovated place is excellent value. My room was spacious and well lighted with a renovated bathroom. a 15 Euro van ride gets you to the airport departure area. A good restaurant is part of the new complex. A security card gets you in the gate to your building, the front door and the door to your room. The neighborhood is not good.

Very pleasant experience. The staff was terrific and the hotel's proximity to the airport was great.

We only stayed overnight before catching our flight, and so didn't have a chance to take advantage of the really nice unit we had with a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, separate bedroom, living room area. Very nice! Much easier to find with the maps the hotel staff send.

Great location relative to the airport; immediate area seemed a little industrial; very competent and helpful staff. If you have an early morning international flight (0700), recommend leaving for airport no later than 0520. Nearby restaurant was very good, though a bit pricey.

Shuttle service from and/or to the airport is an extra 15-25 euros *each* way. Dining choices are unavailable on New Year's Eve without prior reservations. Be sure to eat before arriving. Fortunately, the mini-fridge has yogurt, water, juice and there are some pre-packaged bakery products in the unit. wi-fi service is also extra euros. good place to crash for an early morning flight. plenty of hot water in the shower.

The room was great, very spacious, modern and clean. The shuttle service to the airport was very handy and cost 15 euros for 2 of us. There was a supermarket about a 10 min walk away and there were supposed to be other shops and cafes around but we couldn't see any and were too tired to walk any further to find them. Staff at reception were very welcoming, however a while after settling into our room we noticed the heater was on and the room was getting too hot. We didn't know how to turn the heater off so we asked reception for help. The staff member who came to assist us kept complaining that we must have turned the heater on and tampered with the thermostat programming, even though we had explained that we hadn't touched the heater at all. We found her to be very rude.

These are apartment like standalone buildings with an upper and lower level. We had a very active upstairs "neighbor" who came home at 10pm and walked around until 5am. We also had someone pounding on our door at 4am thinking that our unit was the person above us. The shuttle driver seemed to know that this person was trouble. Other than that the place was great

Arrived in the late afternoon for an early morning flight from Fiumicino. Hotel was easy to find, room was spacious, breakfast supplied (in room) was adequate. Staying on a Sunday night, restaurant was closed (despite hotel employee reccomending it for dinner). Hotel is convenient for a place to crash before an early morning flight. I would not stay in this hotel if I was planning a longer stay in Fiumicino.

The location left something to be desired, but the staff and spaciousness of the room with kitchenette more than made up for it. There is an enclosed locked courtyard to park one's car. Staff was gracious and helpful. A nice way to end one's trip and very close to the airport.

This accommodation is ideally located if like us you had one night in Rome before flying out. It's is very close to the airport with an excellent shuttle service which is reasonably priced for 4 people (3 adults and 1 child). We were warmly welcomed and the staff were cery helpful in explaining everything in the room as well as providing us with instructions on how best to get to Rome via train. We would certainly use Euro House again if we were to visit Italy again (which we hope isn't too far away).

It's the first time we stayed in this hotel and the first time we have stayed in Fiumicino .The hotel was exactly what we needed and it's a great solution if you have a morning flight out on the next day.

This is a good option if you have to stay near the airport for the night -- reliable shuttle service for the 5 minute drive and convenient breakfast ready in your room. But this area is not pleasant, the taxis rip you off, and the hotels are overpriced because of the location, so if you can avoid an early morning flight, I would recommend it so you can just take the train or drop your car off at the last minute before a flight later in the day.

The hotel is in a side street off the main approach to Fiumicino and a little difficult to find even with a map. The accommodation was across the street from the reception area. Rather than a hotel it is an apartment building with off street parking in front. The rooms were very spacious, with a lounge, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom, plus a balcony. A very generous breakfast was provided and easily accessed in the kitchenette and fridge. The rooms are very modern and very clean. The reception staff were friendly and gave a thorough tour of the building and rooms. We stayed there becuse of an early flight and the location was great - only 5 minutes drive from the airport terminals. Also had easy access to Fiumicino for restaurants and shops. Whilst the cost was mid-range, the facilities, room standard and location made it worthwhile. Would definitely stay there again in the same circumstances.

Excellent hotel, although the location is isolated (the walk to the center of town is along a busy highway with very little foot traffic). Car parking was also complicated (small spaces, much manoeuvering) but everyone was very helpful and encouraging.

Our plane was late, nearly midnight, and we had to fill out a missing baggage report. We were told that the Euro House Inn was locked at 11:30 and a phone call got no response. Calling the Euro House Hotel connected us with a person who said "call at 6:00 a.m." Since it appeared that we could not get in the hotel, and we didn't know the neighborhood, we "slept" on benches in the airport that night, and used our room only to shower and meet our friends the next day. Nice folks, but no info about rousing a clerk with the doorbell in the Venere profile of the Inn. Expensive shower, lousy start for a trip.

Everything was wonderful. There were places to eat close by. A grocery store within a 10 min. walk. The beaches were a bit farther to walk but it was still no problem to get there. The only thing is they insisted we didn't need to get to the airport more than 1 and 1/2hrs. before our flight. We should have gone on what we knew. Still we did make our flight. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The suite was beautiful and extremely clean and well taken care of. The air conditioning worked great, plenty of hot water. Services were good, except we thought the shuttle was a bit pricey 15 euro and 25 euro (they are less than 10 min. from the airport) (but other means of transportation are 2x their price)in the USA we would call it price gouging. 5 euro and 10 euro would have been fair. This is was a wonderful way to end our trip to Italy. We would definitely come back!!!

This is a great place to stay if you have to catch an early flight from Fiumicino Airport. If you are planning to use their shuttle to go from the airport to the hotel, you have to call them to schedule that service. We didn’t know that, since is not specified in the hotel website. We spent almost an hour at the airport looking for their shuttle, until we gave up and took a cab. The room was spacious and very clean. There was a kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast supplies were available in the room: juice, yogurt, pre-packed pastries, and jelly. The only low rating I would give is for the surroundings. It’s located in a very busy street and there is only one restaurant at walking distance.

This was an excellent find! The "apartment" I was given was huge and very comfortable. The AC worked beautifully and the bathroom was also large and very clean. I was also impressed with the stock of food they provide in the refrigerator and on the counter for your breakfast - enough for 3 people! Also, the WiFi connection in the room is quite convenient and was an added bonus I was not aware of. I found the proprietors to be extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend this to anyone staying by the airport for an evening, or to someone who might like a longer stay just to be close to the "beach". Also, their restaurant was quite good - a lovely wine list (a few 1/2 bottles of some very good wines, if you aren't drinking much or eating alone, as I was) - and very good fresh seafood as well.

Great location for the airport and very friendly staff. The breakfast provided is just adequate but is in the room to have whenever you want it. We discovered that the noise of people moving about in the rooms above was transmitted into our room and woke us up. Also we thought it was a bit expensive for the quality. However we would use it again for convenience.

This was my first visit to Fiumicino. Stayed at Euro house due to it's closeness to the airport for my next day flight. The hotel was great and the people who worked there were all wonderful! A short walk towards the ocean took us to lots of great shops and cafes. Ate dinner at Il Moro which was excellent. It's situated on the ocean so we were able to catch the sunset. The hotel's shuttle service was also excellent to use.

The rooms were very well equipped with all we needed. It was easy to find and was ideally situated for the airport and for accessing the transport routes around Rome. The staff were very friendly and kept the reception open to await our arrival. There are a couple of friendly local restaurants and pizzerias nearby which is ideal if you arrive in the evening as we did. I am very happy to recommend the EURO House Hotel to anybody. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and had a great rapport with our children. They made our stay very nice indeed. The hotel is particularly suitable for an overnight as it is near Da Vinci Airport, but it would also make a base for a longer stay.

This was a VERY nice place to stay, and sadly we only stayed one night - the night before we were to fly out. They have breafast items in the room so even though we were leaving at 5:30am we could still get something to eat. The staff was very accomidating and efficient. The shuttle was a wonderful service and they went above and beyond to be sure we got to the airport when the taxi drivers went on strike. The only caviat would be that it is in the landing pattern to the airport, but they stop those flights by about 9:30 or so, so it won't interfere with sleeping, and if you're out during the day seeing the sites it shouldn't be a problem either (or just bring ear plugs). Even with that I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

We were thrilled, overwhelmed and delighted with this hotel. This was the end of our trip and we were tired: Francesca greeted us in English, whisked us to our beautiful rooms, and reserved a taxi for our trip to the airport the next morning. The single rooms were huge, the bathrooms clean and elegant and there were well-equipped kitchenettes, not just mini-bars. I wish we could have stayed here longer, it was so comfortable.
