Whwn we arrived at the hotel there was a subit doubt about room's disponibility despite the online reservation one week brefore. In the night's midle (from 11:00 to 04:00) ther was a incessant noise coming from upstair. In the morning we asked the recepcionist e aswered that it was because the restaurant oppened. I believe that there was nonsense...

The hotel was good and the staff friendly and helpful but the 'shuttle bus' is a privately run organisation that only operates 3 times a day. We arrived at 10:00am - the next bus 4:00p.m. Had difficulty getting a taxi for a short trip.

Location is convenient if you have a car. Close to Fiumicino airport. Close to Rome by train - but just one bus from Lido Center, Lido Antica station is closer but don't know about transport. Walls are thin - heard neighbours talking. For one night as we stood was okay. Nice restaurant hall.

It is really complicated to reach the hotel by oneself, you have to go by taxi. And the shuttle doesn't work anytime, just in fixed schedule too unconvinient. And there's no breakfast service, there isn't any other way to get food nearby.

For the price, this hotel suited our needs and was very close to the airport. The directions given were a bit confusing as we couldn't find any of the street names listed.

No breakfast was available. Hotel is a considerable distance from any source of food. Shower was broken and entrance to shower very narrow

We wanted to be close to the airport at a reasonable price and the Chopin matched this requirement. We were happy with the room although it would be appealing if they offered an inexpensive airport shuttle as our flight was leaving before 8 am and the car rental offices do not open until 7:00 am.

Very poor area. Too much traffic and early morning business (Fiat dealer next door) noise. Staff competent and pleasant. Room spacious and comfortable. Very convenient for airport, though difficult to find.

Very charming, old fashioned, lovely staff, really clean. Was situated on busy street and the restaurant was not available. Not too far from the water; without a car difficult to cross the street in search of a restaurant. Unfortunately the people who stayed in the room above us insisted on walking with their shoes on until 3:00 a.m. It would have been totally different experience if/when restaurant was open.

This is the most appalling hotel I have ever stayed in. The contrast between the plushly furnished foyer and the jerry built accommodation is striking. The bathroom had been installed by somebody totally incompetent, the toilet was so close to the wall the lid couldn't stay up, the toilet didn't flush properly and the shower cubicle was so small it was almost impossible to use. There was nowhere to put your toothbrush, much less any other toiletries. The mattress was a foot shorter than the bed which was more than strange. The restaurant was closed and there was nowhere within miles where you could get a cup of coffee. No refrigerator or jug in the room so you could supply your own refreshments and no interest from the staff in providing any advice or assistance. I would never stay in or recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed here 1 night following 3 nights at the Hilton Cavalieri and a 7 night cruise. I did this so I would not have to rush to the airport after the cruise. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. If the restaurant were open, it would have been at least somewhat bearable. But no, it wasn't. In fact, it was completely gutted inside. This hotel was downright depressing. They advertise ruins within walking distance. But what they do not say is that if you actually try to walk there, you will be killed on the busy road with no shoulder or sidewalk. After this review, I have decided to completely forget about this stay. I do not want it to cloud an otherwise fantastic vacation. Do yourself a huge favor. Spend the money and stay somewhere else. You'll thank me. If not, you'll wish you did. You've been warned. If there is a silver lining, it's that the front desk employees were very friendly.

Other than beds, no facilities at all due to renovation of bar and restaurant and nowhere nearby to eat or drink. Very poor since Web site at time of booking did not mention this.

Just based on the location booking this hotel would only make sense if you are travelling by car. But more specifically this is one of the worst constructed hotels i have ever been in: the framing around the doors leaves gaps and the walls between rooms are very thin so sound travels far. The bathrooms had mismatched components so the shower head did not fit into its holder. The service was awful in part because they are renovating the restaurant and not offering any coffee or anything else for guests in the morning. The cable tv was not working in our room (probably because the coax cable was spliced using electrical tape) and it was not fixed in spite of our complaints. The managment did not offer a discount for either the bad cable or the lack of breakfast. There is no place within walking distance to eat. The furniture is all very cheap and mismatched, it appears that the owner designed the hotel himself, corridors are narrow, the stairs are hard to find and the lobby is cramped due to having two large fireplaces in random locations. It sounded like there was construction work going on in the hotel at night. also, this is not the most convenient hotel to ostia antica - i saw a bed and breakfast within 50 meters of the entry and i bet there are another 20 hotels closer than it is. To represent that it is is a lie...you have to drive 10 mintues to get there. my advice: stay away from this hotel

A hotel clearly catering for the needs of young people with few expectations. Noisy streetside, noisy customers, not quite the stuff for a family with little kids. The staff was friendly and helpful, though.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel was within 5 minutes of the airport. Also, the rooms were very large.
