The property lies 12 km from Firenzuola and can be easily reached by the A1 motorway, both from Florence and from Bologna.

Difficult to find, but worth it in the end. We stayed one night, really enjoyed the setting and room was nice, particularly the shower! Had an ok dinner at the restaurant but it was ruined by the surly waiter.

The directions to the hotel made it a longer trip than really necessary. There is a nearer Motorway junction. The hotel is really remote so you need to weigh up the total peacefullness with the fact you are limited to the hotel restaurant which is fortunately good, although while we were there a lot of the menu was not available.

From Florence, exit the A1 motorway at Barberino di Mugello and follow the indications to Covigliaio (county of Firenzuola) for about 45 km. The hotel lies on the s.s. 65 della Futa state road (49 + 500 km).
From Bologna, exit the A1 motorway at Pian del Voglio and follow the indications for Covigliaio for about 50 km.

By train
The Borgo San Lorenzo railway station lies about 30 km from the hotel, and the Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station is about 45 km away.

By airplane
The Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport is about 45 km from the property, while the airport of Bologna lies 50 km away.
