I was disgusted and so upset when I arrived in Greece to be told straight off the plane that my accommodation was double booked and not available. I was now staying at On Rocks in Imergovgli 15mins out of town (where my original place I picked Cosmo was ). I was crying the whole bus ride to the new hotel they were taking me which had so many steps that my legs hurt everyday and was exhaused by the time I got to the top (again the reason I choose the Cosmo) so I would have to walk up so many steps (especially being pregnant). It also cost us more money to travel further distances. I must say the Rocks is nice if you want quiet time away from Thira but the steps are a killer. I am not happy with Venere, I spent over $3,500 to get to Greece to be so disappointed this happened, it runied my holiday finding this out when I got there, off the plane. Not to mention I had made many correspondence (by email), before I left to both the hotel I picked (Cosmo) and Venere to make sure my booking was ok.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in - certainly the most beautiful. We could have just sat in the infinity pool the whole time staring at the view - absolutely amazing.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.

Check-in: the rooms are available at anytime after 2 p.m.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than midday.

CANCELLATION POLICY
"The total amount of your reservation will be charged to your credit card 14days
prior to your arrival.
In case of cancellation less than five days prior to arrival, 50% of the cost
of your stay will be charged as cancellation fees and in case of cancellation
less than two days prior to arrival, non-show or departure prior to the
scheduled one 100% of your stay will be charged."
