The Mellis Hill Hotel is a family run hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The hotel is situated in a tranquil location on the hillside overlooking Oludeniz with panaromic views over the bay.

The rooms are shocking, tiny with zero facilities ie: No fridge, kettle, safety deposit box. The outside swimming pool and bar area were the reason we stayed, if this wouldnt have been there we would have checked out immediately.

The Hotel is slightly outside the resortl A 15 min walk for the fairly active. Plenty of parking, its approached by a driveway from the main road to Oludeniz. Super outlook from the rooms towards the sea. The balcony was handy for drying towels, but too small to 'sit out' & no room for furniture. Rooms & bedding clean, tidy & stylish but not perfect - there was a little damage to our bathroom door surround. Aircon was necessary AND all incl. in the incredibly fair £25 room charge. Breakfast also incl. was served on pleasant terrace. It was traditional Turkish i.e. Cucumber, Tomato, Olives, bread, butter, preserves, tea & Coffee. Full English Breakfast avail at a supplement. On arrival, had a tea time swim in the pool. Quiet & with a really pleasant bar, it boasts more views over the town & sea. Sun loungers let it down a bit. Though i'm sure they're clean, the covers looked tired. The swimming pool itself was nice enough BUT had no warning signs where there is a shallow area under the water(ideal for sunbathing). The level steps down rather unexpectedly from this to the main pool & may concern parents of youngsters. We joined in weekly 'Turkish night' during our stay. At £10/hd it Featured folk dancing & a great belly dancer. Mezze starter, barbecued meats, Kofte, salad & melon. Best thing about the hotel is the lovely staff & owner who made us feel so welcome. Second best was cracking value for money. Taxis in & out of town will cost you £5 a journey if you'd rather not walk
