Wonderful old rambling Palazzo hotel with antique furniture, in a good central location. Nice friendly laid back atmosphere. Our room was huge - split level, with a lovely leafy terrace overlooking medieval rooftops. Great breakfast.

Zimmerfenster zum Innenhof,großer Lärm von anderen Hotelgästen nach dem Abendessen und zeitig in der Früh.Zu wenig Personal(1Person) zum Servieren für eine 43 köpfige Reisegruppe,wir fanden keine Beachtung im Restaurant und mussten in ein anderes Lokal wechseln. Frühstück am SonntagkeinBrotmehrvorhanden,dafür Knäckebrot mit Ablaufdatum März 2009

Complimenti al fotografo che ha valorizzato al massimo gli ambienti in verità piuttosto squallidi. Secondo me è un 4 stelle solo per la bellezza del palazzo che ospita l'hotel. Per il resto la recepion alle 21 chiude e per entrare in albergo tocca citofonare. Solo su richiesta ci hanno portato i bagagli in camera. Camere vecchie che necessitano una radicale ristrutturazione ivi compreso l'arredamento.

The hotel was very nicely appointed, but, although the room was enormous, it wasn't that nice, and the bathroom was quite grotty. The breakfasts were not very good, and the quality and availability varied enormously from one day to another. The reception desk was very badly laid out and difficult to use. On the whole, it was not very good value for money.

How to reach Ripagrande Hotel
By carFrom the A13 Bologna-Padova highway, take the Ferrara nord exit and follow the indications to Ferrara centro. Proceed along Via Eridano, Via Modena, Viale Po and Viale Cavour.,turn right on Via Spadari and continue on this road, which becomes Via Boccanale di Santo Stefano, then turn right again onto Via Ripagrande. Continue straight until you reach Via Piangipane, make an U turn and continue along Via Piangipane. Turn left towards centro storico, after a few meters turn left on the first street Via Ripagrande, where the hotel is located.
