Hotel Cruz Alta - Fatima

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Excellent location, it was almost in front of the entrance to the sanctuaries, and excellent friendly staff esp. George Jesus. Rooms were spacious and clean, as were the bathrooms. Breakfast was good. The only problem we had at this hotel was the lack of a restaurant, which they had at the sister hotel Estrella. In fact, almost the entire area around the sanctuary lacks restaurants, but we did like this fact that Fatima wasn't very congested or overdeveloped for tourists. It gives one a better chance to reflect and have spiritual renewal. People in Fatima are generally friendly and helpful. Would love to stay in this hotel again.

We booked this hotel but we did not stay there as it was closed for the winter. We were not advised this until we drove up and read the notice on the door. However, we were given an alternative which is the sister property 100 metres further along the road. The hotel was excellent in a great location right opposite the sanctuary of Fatima. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean. Internet access was too expensive to use. Restaurant menu limited by satisfying.

Nice place to rest and meditate.

Everything was really nice, in front of the santuarium, the people very kind, all excellent, the only thing it is that i am giving my comment not for Cruz Alta is for the hotel Estrella de Fatima, Cruz alta is closed and now all the bookings are in Estrella de Fatima, that is important to know, but the hotel is near just a few meters from Cruz alta.

Hôtel très bien situé en face du sanctuaire. Chambre et salle de bains spacieuses Petit déjeuner buffet. Seul point négatif : Pas de réfrigérateur dans les chambres pour l'instant mais emplacement prévu. Hôtel à recommander.

Hotel pulito con personale gentile, colazione di qualita' inclusa nel prezzo. Siamo stati veramente bene e lo consiglierei a chiunque. Unica nota negativa, in caso di soggiorni piu' lunghi, la moquette in camera e l'assenza di frigobar.

First time at Cruz Alta. Tea & coffee facilities in room would have been appreciated. Cold buffet breakfast was reasonable for price of 4.5 euros. As weather wasn't good choice of a hot breakfast would have been better but no place seem to do them. All in all excellent value for money.

Très bonne situation par rapport au sanctuaire. Personnel très aimable. Pas de restaurant dans l'hôtel. Nous avons un peu tourné en voiture dans Fàtima avant de trouver l'hôtel.

We made a trip in Portugal and booked one night in the hotel to see by night and by daylight the catholic sanctuary. The hotel is ideally situated near the sanctuary. The hotel hasn't got a restaurant. We arrived late (21h) on the 31st of July. To our surprise the city of Fatima was very quiet. You even couldn't find a restaurant to eat at that time in the surroundings.

I was there for professional purpose and thought would find a greyish ambience there but was quite modern and fresh, did fill alright and receptionist was helpful and kind. I stood in a single room

A bit expensive , considering that breakfast is not included. Very very well located, close to the Sanctuary of OUR LADY of FATIMA and to the city centre.

Neues, schönes Hotel in direkter Nähe zur Pilgerstätte in Fatima. Empfehlenswert! New, nice hotel near pilgrims-place in Fatima. Recommendable!
