Stayed 5 days especially to visit the cultural sites such as the Zeche Kokerei and Zeche Zoll-Verein (20 minutes walk from the hotel) + Mining Museum in Bochum. To get to the hotel from Essen Hbf take the U-17 (=underground), stops right below the hotel. The hotel met my standard, very clean and spacious; it lies on a busy road, but the windows isolation is strikingly good.
