Hotel Baia dei Mulini - San Cusumano, Erice

The hotel facilities are good. Rooms are very spacious. On the negative side, sea is not attractive, surroundings to be forgotten, and few people around which gave an atmosphere of a facility which is not in full speed (need to book the day before at the restaurant, 5 tables occupied out of maybe 30, etc)

In view of a 4* Hotel it is not acceptable to join a group of 30-40 noisy girls (schoolclass) by dinner. It is a very charming hotel, but we wouldn't come a second time because of above mentioned reason.

The piano bar was a corridor with a piano and a bar with 4 small tables with chairs. There was no restaurant (the publicity says 2 dining rooms) Everything was closed.

We enjoyed our stay,the room was excellent, very spacious. The restaurant staff were helpful and very friendly.

Different from the description there were no beach-umbrellas and deck-chairs at the private beach. This beach was ugly and dirty with seaweed and a lot of rubbish. The swimming pool was not yet open. There was one tank for coffee at breakfast, as the coffee was finished, no further coffee was avaiable. The bar was closed early in the evening. This hotel does not fit to the declaration of 4 stars and is too expensive for the offered comfort.
