AZIMUT Hotel Erding - Erding

The hotel is really near the station, they changed the name of the hotel so I ended up wasting time searching for it when it had been in front of me all along. A little far from Munich as it's all the way in Auf Hausen. Staff was not so friendly and there was no help, I had to lug my luggage up to 4 flights of steps. The bedsheet cover had piling from overwashing so it was uncomfortable. Everything else was alright.

Not convenient to the airport at all - taxi to and from cost about $40 Euro each way. Hotel backs up to train tracks, but isn't terribly loud. Overwhelming chemical "air freshener" smell in room - left the window open for two hours and couldn't get rid of it. Little kitchen wasn't bad. Bed was comfortable. Staff was accommodating - even switched me into a room with a bathtub upon request and scheduled my taxi. I've stayed in many hotels, but found myself feeling a little unsafe/uncomfortable with my surroundings at this place.

Stayed for Oktoberfest, wondeful location and friendly staff, would reccommend it highly!

The reception English skill is so poor. but room is nice

Für eine Nacht war es ok. So nahe zu München wie beschrieben war es dann doch nicht. Die Zimmer waren groß, hell und sauber, bis auf die Dusche, die war nicht ganz so sauber. Von der Straße hörte man keinen Lärm, nur vom Gang, wenn andere Gäste kamen und gingen. Das WiFi ging in den Zimmern kaum bzw. gar nicht, dafür war es aber auch gratis. Für Notfälle hätte es auch einen Internetpoint vis a vis der Rezeption gegeben. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Über das Frühstück kann ich leider keine Angaben machen, da ich nicht dort war. In der Nähe gibt es viele kleine Geschäfte. PS: Doppelbetten sind zusammengeschobene Einzelbetten, dementsprechend ist ein Spalt von 10cm zwischen den Betten. Sonst sehr komfortabel.

This hotel is very pricey comparing to its location and amenities. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and it is still 10+ km to the airport, but the price is 115 Euro per night. And it is not like the hotel has a high demand even though it is the beginning of Octoberfest. I believe we were the only guest that night. I think many things in Germany are overprice anyway. The room is clean and specious though. The week before, I stayed in a huge Holidays Inn hotel right in Munich for the same price with all kinds of amenities and very nice room. When we arrived at the hotel about 7-8pm, there was no reception. You have to call the hotel and they give you a code to a machine in front of the hotel to dispense a key to your room. So don't look for any help at night at this hotel. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the heater, luckily it wasn't that cold that night. We were at the hotel for only one night before we take off to go home. There is a train right behind the hotel, but we did hear any train. I would use this hotel again if the price were lower. Comparing to other hotels I would pay 90 euro max for a family.

Very very long wat from Munich centre - 60 euros in taxi or 10 euros and 45 mins on train. Tiny room and rather drab hotel but quiet rooms and helpful staff and next to railway station. Also a long way from the airport too.

Stayed in this hotel for a 2nd year in a row and have been very impressed both times. Staff are very accomodating, we arrived well before our check-in time and we were allowed into our rooms and allowed our breakfast in the hotel(at an extra cost obviously). Hotel ideally situated next to a railway line that runs straight into Munich city centre,roughly 25-30 minute journey. Also situated across the road from a decent little bar/restaurant with a nice outdoor sitting area. For any golfers the hotel is no more than a 5 minute drive from the Eichenreid golf course, a highly prestigious course used on the European Tour. Verdict - highly recommended.

The hotel is about 15 minutes from the Munich airport. The room had a small kitchen area with microwave and refrigerator. The hotel is on the corner of an intersection in a "rural" area with a train track about 50 ft. behind. Fortunately, it was very quiet.

Price vs quality good, clear instructions for late arrival , wide and clean room, maybe hair-dryer in bathroom will be a good idea

I needed a hotel near the airport for an early start. The hotel is 15 minutes from the airport (Euros 30), so it isn't so close. The hotel was fine, but is located rather away from (obvious) facilities except the S-bahn which runs alongside. Not really useful for Munich city centre unless you don't mind a 45 minute S-bahn trip. The rooms were fine though.

The hotel site states that the distance to Munich by train is 20 minutes. That is not true, all you need to do is look at the timetable and see that it's twice as much, not counting the fact that the trains are not as frequent as one would desire (and the distantce makes the price rather expensive too). The employee who received me, a young lady who could hardly speak anything but that bayerisch german, told me that very often people try to cancel their reservations after realising this fact, and that's why they "don't let" people be refunded if they're discontent, even though german law says the contrary. In sum, I feel fooled. Be careful with this hotel.

I asked for a non-smoking room (we have a baby with asthma). And got... with the smell of smoke of cigarettes. :)

Good breakfast. About 50 minutes from downtown Munich via S-Bahn, right across from S-Bahn stop, good megastores 2 blocks away, only 30 minutes from Strauss Airport. Catch bus at Erding bus depot (about $4). Truly excellent value.

Too difficult to find in black night

Room for a very reasonable price. Hotel located across the S-Bahn station. Although Hotel is between Main Street and Railway it was quiet at the railway front.

A really nice hotel, located on a main road, but the rooms are quite isolated to noise.

It is bad and not clean hotel and the locationis terribly, from two sids road and from the other side rail!!!! Thre is not any carpet on the stairs, no lift but only the Breakfast was well.

Very good room for a very reasonable price
