Hotel Castello Di Casiglio - Erba

The buildings are beautiful, however the rooms need to be renovated.

The quality of the room is not adequate for a 4-star hotel. The breakfast is very poor. The staff is not careful. Moreover, when I arrived in the room the litter bin was full of waste of the previous customer.

Very nice house in a beautifull parc. Pleasant rooms. I recommend !

very hard to find this hotel (streetsigns?) internet didn't work - no glasses (not even in the bathroom or minibar) in the room. bed was not really comfortable. drinks in the bar extremely expensive!

We really enjoyed our stay at the castello. The surrounding with the parkt an pool is marvellous. It is not a modern type of hotel but very cosy amd makes you feel a little bit like being in ancient time. Dinner was delicious in a nice room. The stay was not so cheap but worth it.

Do not rely on public transporation or walking. It is better, if you have your own car.

It was a 4 stars hotel, now no more than 3. i'd suggest it to anyone

Big disappointment!!! Although photographs showed very beautiful rooms in an old castle, we have been put in villa Elba (or Elena, I don’t remember precisely the name), which looks nothing like a castle. Rooms are in old stage, dark, smelling and unpleasant, furniture is old and damaged. I was very disappointed. The reason why I choose this hotel was the very nice castle, yet there was no castle at all for me.

Nice hotel with a great pool and surroundings. Avoid the rooms close to the road which passes very close to the hotel.

I was surprised about the very good and large breakfastbuffet. The only disapointment which had nothing to do with the hotel, was the Area around the Hotel. There is no way to have a nice hike around the three lakes near the Hotels, because there is only a heavy traffic road with no borderwalk.

It would be very useful to detail the map on the website for arrival. Coming from Como we had difficulty finding the hotel.
