A hotel in an historical building, friendly staff, some noice from the street to the room. I had a jacuzzi in my bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, was option also for an early morning breakfast due to early flight.

Quiet, good location via bus lines to get around town, helpful staff, modern, remodeled facilities, clean, could have been a wee bit more spacious, but OK.

We had a fantastic time at Victoria Park. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We have told lots of our friends that if they ever go to Edinburgh they must stay at the Victoria and to also use Tripadvisor.com. There is a bus stop right out side the hotel which takes you into the city. There is a grill type resurant attached to the hotel which did great food and at a reasonable price.

The host family is extremely nice. The area is quiet and even though it is not central within edinburgh, the city is small enough to be able to move easily from the property. The rooms are a little small but the bed is good. The barthrooms are are quite fine.

As well as an excellent location and brand-new facilities, the hotel is also renowned for the high-standard of its 10 guest rooms, suitable for single, double and triple occupancy.The rooms are clean and quiet, despite the fact that they are near the main road. Although many people do not take this into account, the wireless Internet access enables you to update your travel blog or check your emails from the comfort of your hotel room.
There is also a fantastic range of modern amenities available in these recently renovated guest rooms, including a direct dial phone, LCD flat screen satellite TV, free coffee and tea making facilities, hairdryer, central heating and a writing desk. Guests can also request cots, as well as irons and ironing boards.
