The location, staff, bathroom were all either excellent or very good. My only real complaints were the lack of a lobby in which to just sit and relax without having to either have a drink or sit in the room. There were 2 small tables and benches and that was it unless you wanted to stay in the bar area. There was also 1 chair for guests. My other compalint was the lack of a fan in the bathroom. It fogs up after a shower. These were my only complaints. I realize our room was on the small side but we requested a quiet room. I would highly recommend the hotel. We had bkfst the first day and it was very good but expensive. We would go around the corner for bkfst. The location can't be beat.

We loved the hotel, nice extras and great room and welcome. However, bar service in the evening was poor - staff young and inexperienced compared to the great reception and door staff. The doors opening and closing on our corridor in the mornings were very noisy but otherwise, this place is great - very funky, great location, great room services/extra, very comfortable bed, but service in the bar was poor in the evening and not 5 star.

Nearly every member of staff we encountered were warm, friendly and happy to help. The room was pristine and well equipped. The buffet breakfast was excellent and what a beautiful restaurant. The only small criticism I have was that it wasn't made clear from the outset that the room keycard is required to operate the lift. Unfortunately, the member of staff who pointed this out to us was the patronising one. I would definitely recommend this hotel - excellent location and with a good room rate from Venere, it was worth the price.
