The staff we lovely extremely helpful and courtous.. the rooms beatifully decorated and clean although small/compact..My biggest problem with the hotel was the noise.. the windows are totally inapproprate for the surroundings,..i didnt sleep a wink either night with the noise outside. after the first night we complained and changed room but it was still as noisy.. i would recommed the hotel for guest but would recommend people bringing ear plugs with them!!!

The value for money was great: the room and the bathroom were beautiful and the property was seconds away from Prince's Street. There were speakers in the bathroom ceiling from which it was possible to listen to the tv programs while having a shower!

They have an extremely, extremely loud night club in the basement of a two story hotel with very poor accoustics. The room vibrated until 3 am when it became even noisier, if imaginable, as the people had to leave and were louder than you can imagine in the streets for at least another 45 minutes. Even though their information stated the club was not open nightly, it was open nightly, including Sunday night.

By airplaneFrom the Edinburgh Airport: take the third exit onto Eastfield Road, sign posted for all routes. Take the first exit onto the A8 when you reach the roundabout. At the next roundabout, take first exit onto Glasgow Roadand and follow signs to Edinburgh. At Gogar junction, continue straight on through the underpass and continue towards Edinburgh. Continue straight on at the traffic signals. At Drumbrae roundabout, take the second exit onto St John's Road. Go past Edinburgh Zoo and Murrayfield Hotel and go onto West Maitland Street, following signs for the city center. At the West End traffic signals, continue onto Princes Street.
