Me and my girlfriend had a very good stay at the hotel. I would definitely stay again. All the staff was very helpful and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Maybe the walls were a little thin so we could hear noises from the other rooms, but at night they were extremely quiet. The only negative aspect was that to have a cup of tea we needed to fill the kettle with bathroom tap water.

Run with minimal staff (there only ever seems to be one person around) but it seems to work OK. The only criticism of my stay was that a Double Room was booked which was in fact two beds pushed together which left an uncomfortable dip / gap in the middle of the bed (not good if you want a romatic break perhaps!).

People in the industry who understand "hospitality" Positive, informative staff who know their business. A real pleasure to be a guest. Thank you to the Edinburgh team.

Really has good conection with the city centre, as well as the airport. No very big rooms, but more than enough to go to rest and have a sower.

Prices were great for Edinburgh. Bed was massive (this didn't stop my wife from hogging the blanket.) Breakfast was massive too. Very helpful staff.

In comparison to Scotland's bed-and-breakfast-standard (we were able to check by three different overnight-stays) there was no relationship between price and hotel's room-quality. On the other hand breakfast quality was o. k.

The hotel was very difficult to find and there were no parking facilities - this should have been made clear on the hotel overview. The hotel was also supposed to have a residents bar but this was actually a coffee bar and did not serve alcohol. Overall, the hotel was comfortable but I did not feel it offered good value for money.

Quality v price is poor because of high prices during rugby weekends. At other times it would be a better rating.
