The Apex European Hotel is one of the most convenient West End Edinburgh hotels in the area, just opposite Haymarket Railway Station. Located to the west of Princes Street, the hotel is surrounded by pubs, cafés and restaurants as well as the many arts venues on Lothian Road, such as The Edinburgh Filmhouse and the Royal Lyceum Theatre. Murrayfield Stadium is also nearby too.
Easy to get to by train, this Haymarket Railway Station hotel also has its own car park, a rarity for hotels in Edinburgh City Centre. If you are coming up to see an international rugby match at Murrayfield or want to immerse yourself in Edinburgh's lively arts scene, then the Apex European Hotel is a great choice.
The hotel's restaurant, the Metro West End Brasserie and Café Bar is a casual, trendy and above all fun place to eat. It has à la carte, set diner and eat early menus as well as a kid's menu, not to mention a delicious roast on Sundays. How to reach Apex European Hotel
By car
From outside Edinburgh: head for the West End and Haymarket Terrace. Follow the signs for Haymarket Railway Station, which is at the main West End junction. The Apex European Hotel is on the right-hand side, two blocks along from Haymarket Railway Station.
By train
From Haymarket Railway Station: most trains from England and Glasgow stop at Haymarket Railway Station before they pull into Waverley Railway Station. To reach the hotel, simply come out of the main station doors, where you will find a taxi rank. Turn left and the hotel is just two blocks away.
By airplane
From Edinburgh Airport: The Apex European Hotel is the first main city centre hotel you will see as you drive in from the Airport. Just follow the signs for the city and do not make any turns. You will know that you are around ten minutes away when you see signs for Murrayfield Stadium. As you reach the West End of Edinburgh, the Apex European Hotel is on your left, just before Haymarket Railway Station.
