Combining complete comfort with the best modern luxuries and modern art, the Apex City Hotel's guest rooms are a real alternative to traditional Edinburgh accommodation.

The Standard Double and Standard Twin Rooms come with a queen bed or 2 single beds respectively, making them comfortable accommodation for up to 2 persons. The Superior Double Rooms also have a queen bed as well as some added extras such as bathrobes and slippers, a fridge, a selection of savoury and sweet sacks, and finally a safe.

Amongst the superb range of amenities, all rooms feature an en suite bathroom with luxuries toiletries, a bath and a walk-in power shower; free wireless Internet access and free local telephone calls, and finally a wide-screen satellite TV with a CD/DVD player, with surround sound in the Superior Double Rooms. There is also a lending library with lots of DVDs to watch.

By car
From outside Edinburgh: head for Princes Street, Edinburgh's main street. You will immediately see Edinburgh Castle and the Grassmarket directly behind it. Head for the west end of Princes Street, until the main junction with Lothian Road. Head up Lothian Road, then take the first left onto King's Stables Road and follow the directions below.

By airplane
From Edinburgh Airport: follow the signs for the city centre. Do not make any turns until you reach Princes Street, Edinburgh's main shopping street; the shops will be on your left and Edinburgh Castle on your right. As you reach Princes Street, turn right onto Lothian Road and then take the first left onto King's Stables Road. Follow this road as it winds its way around the foot of Edinburgh Castle. After around 400 metres/437 yards, you will join the Grassmarket; the hotel is just a minute or two down the street on your right-hand side.
