We were very pleased by the fact that all staff speaks English (which is not common in the rest of France). The rooms are a bit bare but adequate. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and had to phone for someone to open the front door, but he was there in 5 minutes and very welcoming.

any port in a storm will do, it was clean, had a resturant, two bars in walking distance, too far out of town, only stayed there because normal hotel we stay at was full, stayed one night, which was more than enough, especially due to the orange wall decor

From the A16 highway in direction of Belgique take the exit no. 31 and follow signs to Dunkerque Centre-ville, the hotel is located close the Cora shopping center.

By public transport
Take bus line no. 33A and get off at the Place de la République stop.
