I arrived at about 3pm - the staff were very welcoming. This was the case throughout my stay! The room was good with private bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and the room pleasant and more than suitable as a dining room I met with general polite friendliness and helpful guidance. The car parking was more than adequate I would recommend and certainly stay there again! I stayed 2 nights The other guests were families - Germans and Spaniards - maybe other nationalities but I only met a few when I came down to breakfast. They were quiet and pleasant - some chatted to me too. The hotel directions were excellent and very easy to find and very close to the ferry port which was very useful; also close to the motorway.

The hotel is basic, but the staff friendly and competent. We used the Hotel as a stop point before after the ferry and for that pupose it was excellent. I would stay again.

This hotel did what it said on the tin. It was very cheap but clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful when I rang up to get the door code because we were going to be very late. The morning staff were also very friendly and helpful so I booked it again for our return trip on the ferry. On the second trip the room next door had noisy people in but this could have happened anywhere. It was difficult to find but it is right next door to the Formula 1. It is not a hotel for a holiday more for being en route somewhere else and is not too far from the ferry if you're in a car. I think a woman on her own might not feel very comfortable in this hotel as there seemed to be all men staying there.

Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The room left a bit to be desired and the noises from adjacent rooms all quite audible.

It was a bit disappointing that there was no evening restaurant facility. We had to go to Buffalo Grill which we would not have chosen normally.

Get what you pay for. Nothing special about this hotel, but on a budget it was great. I would stay again at this chain.

We were not impressed with the service at all. We have arranged for a late arrival of 02:00, phoned the hotel twice on the night before to obtain the security code for access to the hotel and to ensure that everything is in order. We were told that our room will be open and the key will be in the room. This was, however, not the case!! The room was locked and we had to find another hotel 02:00 in the morning, not an easy task. We eventually found one in Dunkerque town centre, which was more expensive, but due to our bad experience with Best Hotel we decided to rather stay in the other hotel for the 3 nights. We have thus called on the Friday morning and cancelled our booking. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody else, I find it appalling, even more so that no emergency number was available to enable us to sort this out upon our arrival.

Web site says restuarant, closed on Friday night because it was "the weekend". Breakfast starts at 9.00am on Saturday because it is "the weekend". Not much good if you want to be on the road by 8.00am. Receptionist was pleasant and helpfull. Sent us to The Buffalo Grill 5 minutes away for dinner on Friday, and had an excellent meal. The moral of the story is you get what you pay for, and at Euro35 per room per night it is difficult to complain. Bon chance!

Hotel good but no mention of fact that it is located on an industrial site some miles out of town. Great for transit stop but not suitable for seeing Dunkerque unless you're happy with a 7/8 mile roundtrip.

Extremly cheap hotel at an industrial area, but close to the ferry. Ideal for a one-night-stay for travellers. The rooms are small, but have en-suite bathroom, which was nice and clean. The blanket was dirty, so should be removed, but the bed-sheet was clean. The remote controller for TV couldn't operate. No reception in the night, but the arriving guest can have the code for the entrace door if makes a call in advance. A bit hard to find after many turnaround.

Hotel is well situated for Dunkerque ferry. We did have trouble finding the hotel as we arrived late and it was dark. Room smelled of smoke. It was inexpensive and you get what you pay for.

This was our first visit to a Best Hotel and we found the accommodation fine for our overnight stop before an early ferry. Dunkerque was extremely disappointing so we decided to have our evening meal at the hotel and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meal and the choice available. We would certainly recommend staying for the meal rather than looking anywhere in Dunkerque. The location in relation to the ferry port is excellent. A good value option.

This hotel is on an industrial site near an oil refinery. Apart from us at the hotel there were 6 burly blokes on a boozing trip. As I was travelling with my Mum and 2 year old we decided to leave as we felt isolated. Rooms are too small for a travel cot too. The port is about 15 mins drive.

Personnel was very kind and qualified in language. For breakfast a buffet was offered with a great variety. The bathrooms were very clean. We were supposed to sleep in a non-smoking area, however, the smell made proof that there had been smoked before. Our children couldn't sleep in that room, we changed. There was no chance to get a refreshing drink in the hotel after 9.00 p. m. We found that very disappointing. The hotel was o.k. for a one night stay on our travel back home.

Very basic but good value for money. Having attempted in vain to find the motorway junnction stated on the location map (junction 25a does not exist when coming from Calais)the lady who runs the hotel came out in her car to escort us in !!
