This hotel is not close to Aldshtad, but is close to train station. The surroundings is pretty noisy. The hotel is normal, the breakfast is SUPER! the staff is very welcoming and very nice, but they had no answers about public transports. Generally the hotel is nice, if you want to stay with cheap price in a good hotel, this is the one

Las habitaciones individuales eran buhardillas de ancho igual a la longitud de la cama, sin acceso del ascensor a la planta y con la puerta del pasillo y del baño recortadas por la forma abuhardillada. Pedimos 3 habitaciones individuales, pero sólo viajamos 2 personas, se avisó por mail dentro del límite de anulación, en recepción dijeron "OK", pero el día de la salida nos hicieron pagar las 3 habitaciones aduciendo que era período de feria (aunque esta feria era en otra ciudad a más de 40 km de distancia). Por otro lado sólo habían dos habitaciones individuales que son las que nos dieron, por lo que se reservaron (y nos cobraron) una tercera que por fuerza debía ser mayor y mejor que las usadas.

This Hotel was excellent! From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. and our room was available for check in. The room was small but quite comfortable. There were plenty of windows to open for fresh air (I wouldn't recommend it in the summer, it has no AC). Our room overlooked the street/intersection so it was a bit loud with the windows open but nothing unbearable. THe breakfast at this hotel was phenomenal! There is a great variety to choose from and plenty for seconds, and even thirds! It is in walking distance to the center/shopping & Altstadt as well as Hauptbahnhof! I definitely recommend this hotel for everyone visiting the Düsseldorf area!
