Hotel Monopol - Düsseldorf

This is a very nice hotel to stay in. The room was very clean and comfortable. There is a flatsreen TV in the room and W-lan free of charge. The staff is very warm welcoming, friendly and helpfull Within a few walking minutes you are in the old part and on Königsallee. we will stay here again when we are in Düsseldorf next time

We had an excellent stay in Monopol Hotel, nice service, nice surroundings and good position (between the train station and the city center). We had a very good and rich breakfast. Our room was little but warm and quite. There's a good selection of tea and coffe in the hall, so you can have something hot to drink whenever you want, that's very nice in the cold Dusseldorf winter.

I can only say that the staff where most heplful, and went out of there way to help in any way they could. The food provided was very good. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and I will be returning next year.

First time we stayed at monopol hotel. It was very dirty and loud.

Decor of the hotel was cold and charmless. But it was clean and quiet, with a decent buffet breakfast. A good base to explore the city. The Benrath park and palace to the south of Dusseldorf was interesting, but don't bother with the Museum of Garden Art, it is a complete waste of space.

Nice a cleaner hotel

Very good quality for the price we paid (special offer/last minute ???). big and quiet room, well equiped, and an excellent breakfast buffet within very reasonable hours. small private parking. old town and touristic places/museums within walking distance (10/30minutes).

An excellent stay. A 10 minute walk to the Altstadt, and 10 minutes to the train station puts this hotel in an ideal position. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were on the small side and no tea/coffee facilities (although this was available in the foyer). I would stay here again.

The location is great (just a few minutes walk to the city center, 5 minutes from central train station, right next to subway station)!!! The hotel is old and something should be done about the decoration!

It is very basic with poor decor, a lift that feels as it might collapse any moment and small rooms, but it is reasonably well located to the Altstadt.

Nice hotel, very well located between railway station and city center. Good services, rooms well equiped but rather small, even so the sanitary block

What a find at the price - very central location, friendly staff, great buffet breakfast, large rooms. The decor is a bit jaded and 80's and the ensuite needs to be upgraded but overall excellent for a budget stay.Would definitely stay again.
