Hotel Lindenhof - Düsseldorf

Hotel Lindenhof was very good value for money. Spotlessly clean and very helpful staff. The breakfast offered plenty of choice and when the scrambled egg ran out they immediately cooked some more. The double room was small and not air conditioned so was quite warm but the window could be fully opened for fresh air. The bed was comfortable and bathroom again small but had everything as advertised.

A simple and nice hotel, very near the heart of town. Personal is friendly and helpfull. Rooms are clean as well as the bathrooms.

Small hotel, decent location between main station and Altstadt, right beside a U-Bahn stop. Wireless internet worked very well and was included in price. Breakfast pretty basic but ok, also included. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Was given a smoking room, slight smell of smoke but not too bad. The big problem I had was that I came back from work one evening at about 7pm and found my bedroom door wide open. It was explained to me that housekeeping had left it open while they went to get a lightbulb to put into the bathroom, but obviously forgot and never returned to even closed the door. From this point on I didn't feel safe leaving anything valuable in the room.

Hotel was close to all the attractions including the old town. Staff were all wonderful and so helpful, just as the reviews stated.

Parking area closed. I had to park my car far away from this hotel. Others, OK.

We love to stay at the hotel very much. We felt appreciated and the staffs are so helpful and kind as we are first timers in Dusseldorf. The room we stayed is so spacious, which is not too normal for rooms in EU countries. It was clean, completed with comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was splendid...something to look forward to everyday of my stay (stayed for 5 days). Booking Lindenhof hotel through Venere is the best thing that I've ever done as the price is the most competitive in comparison to other website. Bravo! As I am a vegetarian, there are several choices of vegetarian foods nearby. If you like Chinese..there's Tsun Gai who serves affordable vegetarian Chinese foods. If you love Pizza, there's Pizzaria nearby who also does delivery to your doorstep and the people there are truly friendly.Their pizza is delicious and cola is priced at the cheapest here. They speak mostly German..but you'll survive! Another choice is Falafel, walk down towards the Church direction (along the Ostrasbe) and you'll get a decent afforable meal for lunch.
