Excellent value. The only negative is the distance/time from downtown. But half the prices downtown!

How to reach Hotel Diplomat
By car
From the North or the West: take the A57 towards the Kaarst motorway junction. Then A52 direction Düsseldorf. Follow the sign to Düsseldorf Nord/ Flughafen (Airport) and cross the Bridge over the Rhine River. Straight till the Johannstraße / Ulmenstraße junction. Turn right into the Ulmenstraße. At the 2nd traffic light turn right into the Collenbachstraße. The Diplomat is located 0.2 miles/300 meters further on the right hand side.
From the South, or the East: A3 from Cologne, or A46 from Wuppertal till the Hilden motorway junction. A3 direction Duisburg till Ratingen Ost motorway junction. A44 direction Düsseldorf till Düsseldorf Nord. A52 direction Düsseldorf till the end of the motorway. Turn right into the Heinrich-Ehrhardt-Straße direction A52 Monchengladbach till the Heinrich-Ehrhardt-Straße / Rather Straße junction. Turn left at the Rather Straße, then turn right at the 3rd street into the Spichernstraße. Drive through Spichernplatz Square straight on to the Collenbachstraße. The hotel is located 0.2 miles/300 meters further on the right hand side.
By train
From the Düsseldorf main train station: take the tram (Straßenbahn) number 707 towards Düsseldorf Unterrath till the Essener Straße stop. The Diplomat Hotel is situated only a few steps further.
By airplane
At the airport take the bus number 721 till the Bankstraße stop.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at any time after noon.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms not later than noon.

Free cancellations are accepted until 1 day prior to arrival. In case of
later cancellations, early departure or No-Show we charge a
cancellation-fee of 90% of the room rate.
You may cancel your reservation without penalty up until 1 day before your arrival date, by accessing the Your Reservations page. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE".
