It was a nice friendly small hotel, really close to underground station, and the bus stop was just oppposite. The breakfast was ok for a small hotel. When i booked,I searched a hotel where was free wifi acces. They had it,but first they want to ask 5 Euros/hour,but I showed what is written in my confirmation, that I can use it for free. They agree, and sad it's ok, just they have different bookings. The wifi was running well all the time! Next year I will stay here again. Good hotel for a small money.

The person by we checked in was verry bad. She told us nothing about the time we have to check out and how late breakfast was. The hotel itself was quite good and our experions with it also, but only that girl told us nothing. rest of the staff did, but she didn't. whe stay 1 day in dusseldorf and the next day at 12:00 o'clock we leave.

This place is a real find! It is very close to the station -- go out the BACK way and it's a much shorter walk. The receptionists were lovely. (They prepared breakfast a half hour early for me to eat before walking to the station to catch the train to the airport for an 8:45 flight.) Great bed, tiny bathroom but a very good shower. (No hair dryer in the room and I didn't ask for one.) Beautiful breakfast room, very stylish, great art work. Just a really nice place. One big negative -- bad light for reading in bed -- bring your itty-bitty book light. Stop by one of the local bakeries instead of buying something at the train station -- wonderful ethnic shops, pastries for about 1/4 the price of the station's. I did not feel in any way that this was an unsafe or unsavory neighborhood.

Terrible welcoming, the guy at the reception refused to give me a receipt after I payed cash. Only after a big discussion he did that. The room was very noisy, an elevater just behind the wall produced an intolerable rocket. The door was damaged, I was not able to lock it properly. The bathroom was not located in the room which was not declarated in the room description. I will never book this hotel again and I would not recommend it to anybody!!!

Good place, not far from bahnhof. Good rooms, good breakfast. Good deal if you don't mind being some 15 minutes from the old town. Area is not entirely free of bums.

Overall, a good hotel for its price. Car could stay in the garage at a price of €8.00 per night. Room was rather small, but clean and all which was necessary was available. Breakfast room is too small to have all guests have breakfast at the same time. We had to wait +/- 1/2 hour before we could start. But breakfast was excellent. Would go again if we go to Düsseldorf again. Hotel is not far from the city center.

Very friendly staff, breakfast didn't offer much variety, but all in all everything was okay for the price. I would go there again.

Overall the hotel is nice and very close to the station. One small problem is that the shower was quite unconfortable and tiny but general we had a good time in this hotel.

Clean hotel in a fairly central posistion - easy access using public transport to all facilities. The room was very clean. On the down side the room had no tea or coffee making facilities and the hotel only served breakfast (no other meals)

Was a bit concerned that I was not actually asked to "register" and was then told to pay in cash, nothing was signed, no receipt was given. This is one booking that the tax man isn't going to find out about! Otherwise room and everything was fine.
