Hotel Batavia - Düsseldorf

The Batavia is a hotel that is excellent value for business or leisure.

We stayed for both business and pleasure.

We had 2 rooms, 2 beds room, 3beds room, excellent services and facilities offered, breakfast excellent

First time in dusseldorf a great hotel to use as a starting point for shopping and sightseeing

Great location, local restaurants varied and good. Room was spacious and clean. Kettle provided but no coffee/tea etc. No aircon so opened windows but traffic noisy from early morning. Walking distance from absolutely everything. Breakfast very good. Hotel was spot on. Would definitely stay again.

Warm and friendly welcome, very close to shops and parking (15 euro's per day and 1,50 an hour), few minutes walking to centre of Dusseldorf, nice basic room with good shower, good breakfast.

A welcoming, clean and quiet place; ideally located near the city centre , a few ' from central staton and most restaurant and shopping. Stayed 5 nights, will book again for sure Excellent breakfast as well

Nice hotel. Large rooms. Noisy street, difficult to sleep with the window open. A/C didn't work so it was very hot with the window closed. Walking distance to the Alt Stadt and good shopping.

A cheap hotel that has got just what you want. Clean rooms and a good breakfast. The only negative is that it is allowed to smoke in the dining room!

This was an ideal hotel for a couple of days in Dusseldorf. It was centrally located, close to the old town(with lots of restaurants and bars), shopping areas and within walking distance to the main station. The rooms were perfectly suited to our needs and good value for money!! The reception staff were very helpful with directions etc, as we had never been in the city before.

Very comfortable single room; clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Second time staying at Batavia.

The hotel was very good within its category and excellent value for money. We had 3 rooms - 2 at the back of the hotel were quiet and 1 at the front was a little noisier but nothing serious. Within walking distance of plenty of good bars and places to eat.

Outstanding CLEAN and badroom with new tiles; very good.Between hall-entance and bedroom a second door!, very good for isolation off noise. Pitty ,but no garage availeble ,15€ for 1 day/night in Parking.

The staff in the Batavia were friendly, courteous and helpful. There could have been more available information on sightseeing opportunities aimed at non german speakers though. The night shift staff were excellent, ordering taxis and recommending places to eat. The breakfast selection was good and the rooms were spotlessly clean and quiet with the windows shut. The shower was great, a power shower.There was no air conditioning so on a warm summer night the room became hot and stuffy unless the windows were left open. It was a good 15 minute walk into the alt stadt from the hotel,and 30 mins walk to the Rhine. Though the hotel was close enough to the shopping and commercial zones in the centre of Dusseldorf. There is a very good Croatian restaurant next door to the hotel.
