We arrived late as our flight was diverted but were welcomed warmly, the price was dear for a couple as there was room for up to 6 people, breakfast was good plenty of choice,would stay again if a double room available

Main point to bare in mind here is that there are net curtains but no blinds, it's like sleeping with a light on, so take some shades or a eye mask.

When booked we did not have much in the way of choice of hotels because of the Drupa exibition & the high demand for hotel rooms. Therefore paid top dollar for a 2 star hotel -But hey, that's the market for you. Only stayed two nights as on a short business trip. Top marks go to the night manager Gerhart. He made us feel extremely welcome, organising taxis, booking restaurants and even doing some shopping for us! You don't often find dedicated people like this anymore. Would definately use this hotel again.

This hotel was fine for the cost, however I thought it strange that they did not have curtains in the bedroom only a red net. The service was good and they could speak good english which helped. This hotel would not suit a family or couple away for holiday but ideal for business trips.

take tram line 707, direction Unterrath to Spichernplatz station, the ride takes approximately 15 minutes.
From the exhibition hall, congress center and stadium:
take the exhibition shuttle bus line 722 to Bankstraße (about 10 minutes), then take the footpath along the church to Spichernplatz (about 500 meters).
From the airport (about 3.5 miles/5.5 km):
take the suburban rail line S1/S7 to Derendorf station. Turn left into Münsterstraße until you reach Ulmenstr. (2nd right).
