Hotel Acon - Düsseldorf

Very close and convenient to the train station. Rooms clean. We did stay one night at the beginning of the trip and one at the end, as they were only 6 days apart and not on a season change, I did wonder why there was a price difference of 10 Euros. Due to the language barrier I was not able to get an explanation for this. Overall, if you just need somewhere close to the station for an overnight stay this is quite satisfactory.

In Ordnung, aber nicht überragend. Etwas abgewohnt (vor allem Bad), Handtücher könnten neuer sein. Pluspunkte: Recht bequemes Bett und recht bequemes Bett.

The hotel is a bit old fashioned but everything is clean, people are nice and the room are big. You have to walk for 15-20 minutes to get to the old town what is largely reasonnable when you look at the room price.

Hotel is located a couple of blocks from the train station...a plus! On site parking garage. Bigger room than average. Excellent breakfast. Only negative-few restaurants close by. We took the train to an area recommend by the staff to eat. There are fast food places in the train station. We would stay there again.

Stayed at this hotel in December. It is a 5 minute walk from the central train station and in my opinion easy to find. Its about 30 minute walk to the old town - I do not know how long on tram as we always walked. Down the same street as the hotel is a strip club which may appear seedy however we never felt uncomfortable walking past it late at night. The service of the hotel staff was wonderful. The public area of the reception and the breakfast room was very clean and the breakfast was a great way to start the day - plenty of choice! The rooms was a bit old fashioned however for the price you do not expect modern luxury. There was a faint wiff of stale smoke however they were clean and comfortable - however the view left a lot to be desired! If you need somewhere to rest your head after a long day, close to the train station with great service and do not want to pay a lot I would recommend this hotel.

East walking distance to the metro and rail systems, and many nice restaurants. A safe neighbohood and an affable staff.

Very friendly staff, quiet room, very good breakfast, good quality of service. I will recomend it to everyone except family with children.

-Location is 10 min walk from RR station to the hotel, no need for a taxi. Safe area, tram stop very near. Walkable distance to attractions, center. -Very good breakfast for 3 star hotel.

A typical city B&B hotel. Handy for the Main Railway Station. I thought it good value and ideal for an overnight stay.
