Really appreciated the warm welcome and the effort of the host to speak slow and clearly articulated French. This gave us a chance to practice our French even though the host can speak English. Location is as described, very nice. Good base to explore the area.

Delightful, one-of-a-kind hotel in a restored stone mill on the stream through Ducey. Excellent choice as a base to explore Mont-Saint-Michel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The town of Ducey is itself quite charming. We enjoyed our dinner at the "La Marionette" Italian restaurant a short walk away from the hotel.

A very pleasant, quiet, well run hotel in a very pretty setting, but expensive in terms of facilities and size of rooms (our one at least). The buffet continetal breakfast at 11.00 euros pp is ridiculously expensive and the coffee in the rooms un-drinkable. Why do so many hotels scrimp on the instant coffee? As the hotel does not offer meals, the Auberge de Salone nearby is suppoed to be first class, but for us presented a Fawlty Towers evening. The Ty Breihz, although basic, offers good food and good value. The salade du gizziers and the gallette paysanne were very tasy and filling. Under no circumstances visit L'Agriculture in St Hilaire du Harcouet. Why a nation renown for it's food alows a dump like this to stay in business is beyound me.

Friendly, helpful checkin. Beautiful rooms with fantastic views! Quiet, quaint town with interesting walks everywhere. Locals friendly and helpful. Delightful breakfast. Overall, we highly recommend this property. Best Western can be proud!!!! We regret we could only stay one night - it is so close to Mont St. Michel without the hub-bub of tourists, what a relaxing evening and night.

Le Mouline de Ducey is a family run hotel in a lovely location overlooking the river and weir within easy walk of the few local restaurants. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our short break. A buffet breakfast is the only meal served but restaurants are close by.

This was a wonderful nights stay. The local restaurant around the corner was excellent. The hotel room was perfect overlooking a small running stream and lake. Hotel staff were the friendliest and the most helpful. We'd stay there again in an instant. This was the French experience we were hoping for.

We only stayed for one night en route from Cherbourg ferry to our final destination, it's a very convenient stop off point in a pretty location, and easy to find. We were provided with adjacent rooms on request so the children could be next door. There was a beautiful river right outside the window, I'd recommend asking for a room with a river view. Breakfast was very good, and the staff all very friendly and helpful. They were very understanding when we were unable to use our credit card to pay, as you need to know your pin no. everywhere in France now (we didn't know this, much to our embarrasment). Still, we sorted it out and enjoyed our stay very much.

A charming location that will appeal especially to romantic couples. The town has limited services but the local auberge was very good.

Rooms and especially bed too small. No restuarant and the breakfast for what it was was vastly overpriced. The hotel was beautiful as a building and the location stunning

The Hotel was clean and comfortable the staff helpful and friendly even understanding our poor french. The only problem we encountered was booking via venere. We were unsure of what had been booked we requested a double room for 2 people but what had been booked was a Double room for 1 person. The Hotel also missed this when cofirming the booking. This caused a misunderstanding when paying the final bill.

We only stayed one night on our way back to the ferry. The location is excellent, we saw a kingfisher, lots of fish big and small and otter from the room which overlooked the river. The only noise was that of the river gushing past the mill. I would certainly use it as a stopover again.

This hotel is an oasis of calm en route to Mont St Michel. The staff speak good english and are very warm and helpful. The town of Ducey is very pretty and the local pizzeria offers excellent food and service. Well worth a visit!
