We had a fabulous time at the President. The hotel setting was spectacular and the best breakfast buffet I have seen in a long time. We were on the top floor in a suite. The decks are HUGE and lined with mediterranean herbs in planters and the view is like looking out from a cruise ship onto the Adriatic but very quiet at night. The bus picks you up on the opposite side of the street from the hotel every 10 minutes or so and goes down to the old town. It takes about 20 minutes and I think the cost was $2US. We actually extended our stay another day because we loved the hotel so much.

Beautiful hotel located outside the old town but excellent bus service in and out of old town. Rooms spacious with beatiful sea views - very relaxing. Stayed 12 nights and would definetly return to this hotel and have recommended to friends.

The hotel is supposed to be a 4 star property but... it should at the max be rated as a 3 star. The rooms are large and well appointed but the furnishings and, the bathrooms in particular, are out dated and in need of some repairs/upgrades. Fore example, floor tiles that don't match, towels, mats and amenities of terrible quality and/or in very poor condition (towels with holes, shower mat with mold, etc.). Not something you expect from a 4 start hotel nor for the amount of money you are paying for the room.
