Great location with good helpful staff. We had a comfortable week stay, and would certainly recommend Hotel Splendid. Travel to old town was an easy bus ride away.

The hotel is verging on a 2 star, it's clean but dated. The shower didn't work for a day, little things like curtains hanging off in the room, patched up paint looks abit shabby. The hair dryer was a waste of time. However the staff were excellent, very frinedly. Breakfast was shocking. Gardens/scenery are very pictureques. The room was very quiet and peaceful. Bit disappointing that you have to pay 70 kuna for 2 sunbeds/umbrella. I wouldn't go back to this hotel simply because we paid European prices what I would expect to paid in Spain/Italy simply because the fixtures and fittings of hotel is dated.
