The hotel was an unexpected gem!!! Recently renovated with the rooms retaining their original charm with the addition of a in-room sauna, marble bath with whirlpool tub, separate handicapped shower, lovely linens, and all the ammenities you could ask for including off street parking. We would highly recommend ...pictures don't to it justice. Irish breakfast was delicious!

We booked a standard room and we were surprised to find that it had a jacuzzi bath and small sauna. Service and food were excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Our triple room was made more crowded by the presence of the sauna, which we did not use. Breakfast was very nice, with good choice of hot entrees, and cold yogurts and fruits. The location is easy walking distance to the city centre, and car park in the back of the hotel very convenient.

Staff was welcoming and caring. Gladly served tea when returning in evening. There was a fire in the parlor. Like many hotels, the walls are relatively thin, but it was not a problem here. Great location off the tourist route, but still very close.

We were astonished by the room, it was over our expectations, there are sauna and hydromassage, a little kitchen, computer ... the service was very good and people were very kind, we like all very much.

By airplaneFrom Dublin International Airport: take the Aircoach Bus in the direction of the city centre/Ballsbridge, which leaves every 15 minutes from outside Dublin International Airport arrivals terminal. Get off at the School House Hotel, which is at the start of Northumberland Road. The Roxford Lodge Hotel is only a 2-minute walk away from there. Once you get off the Aircoach bus, walk in the same direction as the bus goes and you will come to a set of traffic lights. Once you have gone straight through the traffic lights, the hotel is literally a few steps from there. It is located on the left-hand side of the road, at the first public bus stop on Northumberland Road.
