Hotel The Gresham - Dublin

Comfortable hotel but not quite up to 4-star quality for the price. Nice location and helpful concierge and front desk staff. Toddy Restaurant very good.

Hotel is fine if you're using the airport which is nearby. Breakfast self-service area was crowded and chaotic when I was there (a Sunday morning). You need to order a taxi to get into Dublin from the hotel (30 min). Alternatively use the free shuttle to go to the airport (4 or 5 min) and then get the bus into town from the airport (cheaper than a taxi).

Good, large, traditional hotel. Rooms with expected standard for the class and price level.

Had a great stay,the Gresham is a first rate hotel.The room was spotless and roomy,very comfortable and with lot's of information for the tourist/traveller.Reception met us with a smile on arrival and we left with a smile also.The only negative was we were woke in the early hours by revellers talking to loud and banging doors.Would it put us off from going again,No!

The Gresham is very clean, comfortable and the perfect location for a stay in Dublin. Day tour coaches depart from the front of the hotel as well the bus for the airport. It's centrally located on O'Connell street, to shops and a 5 min walk to the river. There is also a cinema next door. Everything seems to be within walking distance. The tram line is two blocks away and the DART train about a 15 min walk. Above all it's clean which seems to count a lot if any of the other hotel reviews are anything to go by.

The restaurant was close during the four days spent at the Gresham and breakfast was served in the lobby. It was therefore crowded and noisy.

This is indeed a 4 star hotel with nice rooms (we had a king bed) however, we had to change rooms since they initially put right next to the laundry room and it was very noisey starting at 4:00AM. The second room was great. The staff was very helpfull in getting us around Dublin. The hotel location was great - within easy walking distance to what we wanted to see. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was located in the center of the city-great location. In addition, it is located in front of the airport shuttle bus-extremely convenient!

Regarding the fact, that Irish Hotels are expensive and poor in quality, it was all right and the best hotel in Dublin so far.

A very good hotel, at a reasonable price. Best possible location, in front buses stops to/frrom the airport and in a very central area. All the best places of Dublin are within walking distance. Rooms are clean, spacious, equipped with the best technologies also for business. Very good staff, competent and helpful. I have travelled a lot, for work and tourism: this is one of the best hotels I have ever encountered. Cannot judge the food quality because I did'nt eat here.
