Hotel Pembroke Townhouse - Dublin

Due to the staff not reading the Venere booking they only booked 1 room instead of 2 as I have paid for consequently my wife had to stay in a very samall and unsatuisfactory room. Management and staff did not seem to care and no reduction in cost was or has been offered

We loved our stay. Although not in the centre, the hotel is situated in a lovely neighbourhood, which we might not have visited if it weren't for its location. It's well served of buses centrebound just around the corner, including airport bus. Staff very welcoming. Rooms clean and well aerated. Big thanks to Lonely Planet reliability!

Hopefully this hotel will be available next time we visit Dublin.

The sink in the bathroom had separate taps for cold and hot water, that may be inconvenient. Also the introduction of a shower flexible pipe (instead of the present rigid tube) would really add to comfort.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. The staff, especially Francesco, were competent, knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. While the room furnishings were not luxurious, our room was clean and everything was in working order. We weren't hungry enough to have the full breakfast, so we opted to search for our own. We were able to find several choices for our morning coffee and pastry within two or three blocks. The only caution that I have for this hotel is that it is a long walk (2 to 3 km)to the main Dublin shopping and eating destinations. Personally, we didn't mind the walk...it helped to burn off the generous lunch and dinner portions that we consumed.

Enjoyed our stay, lovely old building, nice to see the inside of a georgian building. Beautiful reception area, you could make a cup of tea or cofee and have a biscuit there in comfy chairs. I would hsve liked to have kettle in room as well as didnt feel like coming down to reception in my pjs at 4am for drink! The room were spacious, nice bathroom and very clean. We were facing street and quite a lot of people were talking loudly outside on and off thru night. So if you want quiet ask for a back room. Was a good walk to heart of city not too far and you get to see a lot on the way. Would defnitely reccomend.

It is a good solution for who wouldn't spend too much and would to stay in a well-served zone to visit the city

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Extremely clean, neat and modern decor in rooms. Excellent breakfast. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. A short bus ride from the main city.

Very beautiful room in a great area of town. I would absolutely stay there again. Terrific value for the price.
