Reception were helpful with an early arrival however there was some major mix up between clearing and reception as to what rooms were ready. Reception especially Stephen were very helpful and eventually sorted me out with an excellent room. food was good lobbey is too bland and open and cold. Bad points hotel recommend Gala taxis. I advise any taxi user not to use them. I took a book to Naas during punchestown and on the way bank phoned for a taxi to be waiting for me at the Luas Red cow stop for 30 minutes. That is ample time for any respectable taxi company to be there. I was there 10 minutes early, they never turned up I was abandond in the middle of nowhere and as an ex dub knowing the area I knew how long and dangerous a walk it can be. With the new road systems it was a maze of exits. Thankfully I sourced annother company on my mobile was collected to my hotel. I was told that GALA are based in Ballyfermot and again knowing dublin, I immediately knew why my taxi had not turned up. NOrmally I would never consider this as the fault of the hotel, but it they are recommending a particular company and issuing call cards then they have to accept the criticism of something they recommend. All in all this experience spoilt at nice stay at a very pleasant hotel. Avoid GALA cabs and enjoy the hotel. Hopefully the hotel will change cab company to a more local firm.

I stayed here on a Friday night. Checked in at 19.30. When I woke the next morning my car had been stolen and burnt out from the hotel multi story car park where it was parked on top level. Won't be staying again.

Freezing cold hotel. Complained 3 times about coldness of room. Central heating on for only 2-3 hours in a 24hr period. Would not recommend to anybody and would def not stay here again. The minimum I expect from a hotel is a warm comfortable room and instead we got a room where it was impossible to be in during the day and had to put on extra clothing to keep warm during the night. The weather outside was freezing temperatures so more reason to keep central heating on longer.

First of all our first room was out dated and the furniture was stained. The window was broken and the television was from the 80's era. We changed room and it was only slightly better. The tv was old and the sound was awful. The bathroom had a stale urine smell and the double bed was very weird. The headboard was not suitable for a hotel but you would imagine it belonged in a ship. The room was right beside the main N7 road which was so noisy. The rooms were not very family friendly. When we went for food we all had soup and bread. The soup was sour and inedible and the brown bread was obviously defrosted in the microwave. At that point we just said whats the point and went to the room. Over all it was a great price but the room reflected that and i will not be returning or recommending it to anyone i know.

The hotel was excellent quality for money.... My only negative comment was that I didn't check in until after 10:30pm and the heat was off in the room and was not coming back on until 5:30am as the entire heating system was on automatic and the staff were unable to override it... For this reason alone I will never stay in the green isle hotel again.... The heating system should always be on And it was a particularly child winter night...

We enjoyed our stay but in the morning when checking out I asked for the morning paper, something for the long drive home, but was told it was only for hotel guests staying at the hotel and that the paper could not leave the hotel. Would stay again but will ask for the paper with breakfast!

Overall I thought the hotel was well above average compared to other hotels in the same category. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Cleanliness was taken very seriously which was a relief. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The food in the hotel was also well above average and reasonably priced. I will definitely come back and stay again. The only negative was the price of the room. Other than that everything was perfect.

The Hotel more than met our expectations with a high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas. Located about a mile away from the Red Cow intersection of the M50 and N7 where there is a park and ride station of the new Luas tram system ( 4 Euros for 24 Hour parking and 4 Euros adult return to city center ). There is also a bus stop right outside the Hotel entrance.
