Stayed at Hotel George Frederic Handel for 3 nights over St. Patrick's Day 2012. Room was a little pricey but the location was good as far as being close to the Temple Bar area and the proximity to the parade route. Staff were friendly and recommended good places to eat. The Internet worked very well. No fee and no need to get new codes periodically. Lighting in the bathroom was not very good and the ceiling fan was too noisy to use. Overall, it was a nice stay.

The location of the hotel is excellent, only a few minutes' walk to Temple Bar, Dublin Castle and river Liffey. The bus stop from and to airport is round the corner in Lord Edward Street. The staff in reception and in the breakfast room was very nice and polite. Special thanks to Claudia for helpful and interesting information and discussions!

The room was on the 4th floor. The furniture and bathroom looked quite old. There were cracks in the tiles and rust in the sink. The linen was old and mismatched. I did not enjoy my stay. i would not recommend this hotel. The good thing about it was the location.
