WE choose this hotel as it was central to the things that we wanted to do and see. It was all that I expected and would stay there again. My only negative would be that I wish there was music ther earlers and more often.

Have stayed in Dublin many times, though this was the first at the Harding Hotel. Very convenient for Historical Dublin and also Temple Bar area. This was an overnight stay and as such the hotel was very good. One draw back if you have a room at the front the sound of Christ Church clock and bells throughout the night.

At the price I paid, it was a total steal. The staff was extremely friendly, the room was huge, the airlink stop is just in front, the vending machine with travel adapters was a godsend... All in all, an excellent hotel I'd recommend in a heartbeat.

The hotel is excellent and the location is wonderful. The problem is it is situated next to ChristChurch Cathedral and the bells ring all night long! If you are a light sleeper do not expect a restful night.

I really enjoyed my stay at Harding Hotel, which is clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I got a room close to the bar, but I had no troubles getting a quiet room. The bar has good Irish live music - the location is brilliant (close to Temple Bar). I will defiantly stay at Harding Hotel next time I visit Dublin.

Harding Hotel is a great location for travellers who to be close to Temple Bar - Famous Porterhouse Pub is few meters away, Christchurch, Guinness StoreHouse. The best fish & Chips is on the Corner. 20 min. per feet from Busaras. A pub downstairs, so sometimes, folks sing til 2 AM.

Walking distance to everything. Pleasant staff. Spacious room with fridge and big fan. We had a very nice stay and paid a very reasonable price. Only negative was poor air circulation and excess heat from the building making the temperate october nights too hot and required use of the fan and consequently earplugs.

We thought the hotel was overall great but unfortunately we had rooms just above the pub and as we were there over a weekend it was VERY noisy. The first night there we didn't get any sleep because of the karaokee from the pub, the noise from the street, the Cathedral clock across the street and it didn't help that the windows were not very solid so all noise and sounds came directly into the rooms. We were moved to the third floor on request and it helped a little. But we could still hear people from the pub and the clock which rang every 15 minutes. It should be mentioned in the hotel description the your webpage.

Staff cold as a dead fish. Ireland advertises itself to America as a friendly place. NO WHERE was it friendly. Room had disgusting blankets and rug. Blood on shower curtain. Would not shower, would not have felt clean. Rooms need to be overhauled. Clean, new chairs (stains)rug, blankets and a knowledgable (told us wrong about bus)welcoming staff. Dublin is filthy too.

If you want a quiet room, ask for one at the rear. the cathedral bells (across the street) chime all night. Small fridge in room was welcome. WiFi was excellent. Carpet in the room I had was overdue for replacement. There is a lift but you have to go down a few stairs in the lobby to reach it. Location was close to Temple bar without all the street noise. Short walk to centre of town. Bus Stop for airport but just a block away.

I used to travel to Dublin often in 1999-2000, and I always stayed at the Harding Hotel. I stayed again this year, and everything is as I remembered it. The price is reasonable, given the location (right at Temple Bar) and the amenities. And it is obvious they have maintained the property very well. Everything is still new and fresh looking. If I have the opportunity to return to Dublin, I will be going to the Harding Hotel again.

I spent two nights here on my own at the end of a mostly-business trip. The location is at the end of the Temple Bar neighborhood, which is handy without being right in the thick of noisy tourists. Beware- the location shown on the website (next to Trinity College) is NOT correct!! I found it a very nice hotel with good wifi. My only complaint is that my room was right above the patio of the pub next door which was very loud on Sunday night until midnight. Fine on Monday night.

This hotel is well located in Dublin, just across from Christchurch. Single room was quite small but adequate. It was a very acceptable hotel for a short stay. Our window opened onto a city street but the noise was not too bad. The bathroom was minimal but functional. The location was excellent. The price was acceptable for Ireland which is very expensive. I would stay there again. My biggest complaint is that the hotel was very hard to find. This is due to the very confusing Dublin street arrangement which I knew nothing about. I would have preferred to have more detailed driving directions from the asirport provided with the reservation

Mine tree friends and I had a excellent time in hotel Harding. The rooms are good, spaciousness and clean. Breakfast is top. You have the choice out of full Irish, English or continetal and those are ok. Walk out the door and within tree minutes you are in Tempel Bar area. We stayed in Harding four days and had never a dull moment. Under the hotel you find an bar with live-music. So you don't even have to go out. From this location you don't need a taxi or bus. Within 20 minutes you are were you want to be. Pubs, Guinness Brewery, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, shopping streets, etc, etc. Really excellent please to stay. But realise that you are in a nabourhood where people like to party.

Had 3 days in Dublin and this hotel is perfect for accessing at the sights quickly. Take the bus from the airport and stop at Wood Quay - the hotel is just 30 seconds on foot. Next to a pub - so Guiness on tap locally! A few minutes walk from the trendy Temple bar area, 6 mins on foot from Molly Malone and there are very close-by stops for the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus. All in all, a fab hotel. Breakfast was a little dissapointing, so if you have the option of room only - go elsewhere for brekkie - lots of cafes close by...

Very noisy on Friday night (very thin walls and doors, people coming back from pubs etc until 3am). Fine on weekday nights. Great location in heart of medieval city but close to Temple Bar if that's your thing. You can walk everywhere from this hotel. Breakfast poor quality (kept warm for some time) and service a bit flaky. (Had to ask for coffee, ask where to get juice etc). But for the price it was to be expected.

We ordered a triple room and received a very nice one, on the top floor, large enough for three. The best thing of the hotel was the enclosed pub. Especially with a child it is very comfortable to have such a nice pub directly in the hotel. So we could enjouy some glasses of guinnes while our child could dream in her own bed, just 1 minute away. The pub offered live music everyday and was not too touristic, many dubliners visited this place every day. Breakfast was also excellent. Need a good hotel in Dublin? - go there!!!

As a property on the edge of Temple Bar and given that my Father and myself were in single rooms (where you often pay more for the worst rooms) this was superb value for money. Both our rooms looked out at Christ Church Cathedral and well sized for singles. Far enough away from the late night clubs and bars to have a good night's sleep but with the whole city centre in walking distance.

We were only in Dublin for two nights. We were on a limited budget and looking to spend our money more on good food, guiness, and craic than a hotel. We only needed a hotel to sleep in between experiencing Dublin. We were very satisfied with the Harding. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, well located, clean place to lay your head, then the Harding is perfect. If you are looking for ambience or quiet, this is not the place. The hallways and the bathrooms are a bit dreary. Prison-like in some regards. The bathrooms are very practical and institutional. Toilet and shower (no tub) that drains to the floor. All perfectly clean, but again, not pretty. The hotel is very close to Christ Church (our room had a nice view if you looked hard left out the window). But with the cathedral comes the church bells. And with growing Dublin comes the constant sound of construction. And with the city comes the constant sound of traffic. And the hotel rooms themselves didn't seem too insulated from the noise of people coming and going. The curtains did a poor job of keeping out the morning light. But the beds were very comfortable and clean. The staff brought us an ironing board and iron upon request. The staff were all very nice and capable. We would stay there again if ever visiting Dublin.

If a good hotel in a great dublin location is what you are looking for....then DO NOT stay at this hotel. Instead, stay at the Jury's Inn which is located beside the Harding. The only thing that this hotel has going for it is it's proximity to the Temple Bar district of Dublin. The rooms are mediocre and the bathroom floor was just disgusting. We stayed at the Harding for four nights, and except for a screaming match between some couple on the street at 3 AM, everything was great. The rooms are sparse, but clean and comfortable. I can see why earlier reviewers were nervous about the bathroom, it was simplistic, but serviceable and clean. As long as you expect an old building bathroom and not the Hilton, you'll be fine. The location of the Harding couldn't be better-easy walking access to everything and an incredible view of ChristChurch Darkey Kelly is the perfect pub for relaxing with tea or listening to the music on a weekend. Good craic. Just be sure to take the 747 bus to CityCentre, not a cab, because they'll try to overcharge you. Had a wonderful time and will definetely return!

Our room was rather small - a small double bed pushed against one wall, no room to get around the bed due to the 'wedge' shape of the room. I definitely got the impression that we were being given a 'cheap' room, a fact born out by the fact that the room was shown as a single on the fire instruction plan! Having said that, the rate we paid was the best I could find anywhere on the web, as it included a full Irish breakfast. The staff were very helpful, booking a table at a restaurant for a group of us one evening and booking the return trip to the aiport (although they did book a 4 seater rather than the 6 seater we needed!) The hotel is very centrally placed, but at the same time nice and quiet. The bar was absolutely heaving one night - live music was playing until 1.00 on the Saturday, but the noise didn't reach the bedrooms. It was certainly much better value than the 3 star hotel next door!

Hotel is in very good location. Bathroom is antiquated - impossible to shower without flooding bathroom. Beds were the most uncomfortable we had ever slept in - one was a day bed with only pieces of foam for a matress. After one night we asked staff to address this problem and were assured they would however this had not been done. Pub ajoining hotel is pleasant place to enjoy a meal - friendly service, good food.

Good hotel - big rooms, good location and the bar was great fun. Would definitely stay there again, only moan was the lack of hot water when we were getting ready to go out!

Dear Sirs I specifically requested a double room and was therefore surprised to be offered a twin. After some discussion we were offered (with a reduction)a very small and frankly inadeqate room which was very noisy and meant we had little sleep. This was my first experience in using your company and has not left a good impression Roger Greet

Hotel pulito, con servizi essenziali, ma rapporto qualità/prezzo molto basso. Toilette orrende, alcune camere piccolissime. Molto comodo per visitare il centro a piedi.

The hotel is located directly across from the historic Christchurch in Dublin. It was an excellent value especially considering the location. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had to pay more than the price indicated on our booking (96 EUR/night instead of 84 EUR). There was no car park belonging to the hotel contrary to what is understood by the "P" on the web page indicating the facilities. The car park is not far but has to be paid seperately per hour or per day. Anyway the average quality is good.

Good location, close to Temple Bar. Generous tea/coffee supply. TV very clear and many channels. Should have at least some breakfast provided for price paid (60 euros/nite)- otherwise no complaints.
