Hotel is in the centre of dublin and you can walk. The parking (at extra 10 euros per night) is absolutely ridiculous and so crowded that to get in or out you must move many cars and leave the keys to reception for moving the car to let others out. The good thing is you can forget the car.

Terribly noisy (traffic). Also there was a very loud screeching sound every time the room next door flushed the toilet. They are aware of it, sent plumbers up, but could not fix it. Finally they offered to change my room, but to a smaller bed. They did not do enough to rectify the situation.

Not a fancy place, but cute, nice, well-located, and welcoming. An ideal place to stay in Dublin for a budget-conscious traveler. Across the street from the Gate Theatre, the Lane Museum, and the Dublin Authors' Museum, lots of Joyceana nearby. The main tourist areas (Grafton St. etc.) a 20 minute walk

Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast very busy but food good and staff excellent. Location good, quiet but with easy access to most areas of the city by bus or walking. Would recommend and stay there again.

Very nice saty at the Castle hotel: convenient location, good food (breakfast), nice environment. A confusion about rates applicable for the room has been handled fairly. Highly recommended

Quite close to centre, rooms not great, didn't help that our sink and shower were not draining and it wasn't fixed when we told them! Area not great, again it didn't help that someone vomited as I exited the hotel when leaving in the morning! Amount of tables not adequate for rush during breakfast!

Apparently, the building and room furnishings are supposed to offset faults. My room was small and crowded with furniture. The amount of room available for the complimentary breakfast is woefully inadequate. Tour groups descend en masse and fill the place. The noise level is intolerable. The food offerings are good. An attempted dinner my first night was cut short because of dreadful service. My mentioning this to the front desk was brushed off. The location isn't ideal, a bit removed from some of the more important sites. In general, an indifferent experience.

The room I was in was too crowded with furniture. As it was cold & rainy I wasn't able to go out as much as if it was sunny & warm, but the breakfast is outstanding, the location is great, just guess I was quite disappointed with the weather!! I was in Dublin 3 nights, 4 days...SOLID RAIN!!!

Enjoyable stay at The Castle Hotel, warm cosy and away from all the noise of the city. Friendly staff. Didn't realise our room wouldn't have a bath. Car park was difficult to find for our first visit to this hotel. Outside directions would be useful as we had to double park and risk running into reception to quickly ask for directions. A larger carpark would be ideal but staff dealt with moving our car for us whenever needed which was good. However, you can't help but wonder if your car is ok in case it might get accidentally hit in the crowded surroundings.

Consigliato.
